Self-Realization | How it can be achieved within ones life time

We must really understand that self realization is not a goal of life... it is the end of the journey itself. After having reached the stage of self realization... every self realized soul has but to leave for the abode of God (Baikuntha as in Hinduism). Call it self realization or enlightenment... the moment one reaches this stage... there is nothing more which can be achieved further.

arthur naylor Absolute rubbish.I am enlighteened, and I know there is no self;ergo,God has no self.God just IS.There is no desire in God,no will.Enlightenment is God;there is only Unity. So how can God tell you what to do?Also the idea of celibacy is nonsense as a requirement for enlightenment.Enlightenment is simply stillness beyond mind, beyond any motion or doing. It is just Being, simplicity itself beyond any concepts.Spirituality is a concept and all concepts are unreal, and no concept can lead to enlightenment 5/18/2007
ramkumar.d great work.

also it has to be taught to every child in the school level itself making it a part of education.without having set the mind what is the purpose of education.

Sean I don't agree with the celibacy views, there is great energy stored within sex, sex is a sacred thing and deprivation of that can cause imbalance. Unproper use is common and is probably worse then celibacy depending on the event. Kundalini is the first major leap to take in the spiritual journey, do this by combining prana and apana at own personal risk. 8/19/2006

Truth Searcher. A self-realized person never boasts that he or she has done so. The fact that you are openly declaring that you are self-realized shows that you have atleast one more janma away from self-realization.

Best of luck in your next janma.
