Cruz This is so true, In reading the article, I see that most of our reasons seem to be the same, I for one am 59 years old, raising a second family, adopted 3 grandchildren, the research of my anscestors was easy in the sence that it was handed down from generation to generation, skipping my mom and dad's generation. I was interested since I could write, took notes in a jounal at age 12, and years and eons later, I did the the family tree, and realized all my notes and conversations with my elderly uncles, Granfathers, were so true, now my thing now to make it all factional was to get all the documents to complete a tree, and it has taken me 18 years of it, and every minute is a new adventure, and now I help others start thier, with thecnology so advanced, it took me a while to learn the computer, my kids and grandchildren call me cyber granny.
My thanks to all out their in web sites, ancestry, LDS, gen web and many many more, which made my find easy and convinient. alot of hard work, I had to literally travel to mexico, to cemeteries, an faced lots of danger but I am a grandmother, able to talk them into doing their own search, once I crossed the border, i literally feel on my knee's. sometimes I did feel the presence of protecion around me,
and thanks to all available infromation I have acomplished a dream and a legecy to leave my grand children and their children and the future, so our heritage and legacy never dies. at least I will leave a mark in history to make a difference to help other.
