Jeanne Kennedy I think that you are correct. I just learned that my husband was having an affair when we were one week shy of our one year anniversary. I am still very confused and torn and my first reaction was to get a divorce. I actually filed for divorce and am now slowing things down in the legal sense becuase I am understanding that the first step in healing is understanding why the affair took place in the first place. I am struggling everyday with my own self worth and feeling like I was in some way responsible for my husband "leaving". Each day I feel myself getting stronger but it is only in hearing it from my husband where I can start to make sense of the affair. 10/25/2005
