I just think you are a typical Hindu, you don't know anything about Islam but are getting a distorted version of it from your friends and family. According to the 2012 Mayan prophecy, 2012 isn't necessary the 'BIG' war but an earth changing event is to take place. Who knows what that could be. It's been predicted by others that religion or the US could start to fail in 2010. We shall see. Regardless, we ARE living in interesting times that will test many of our beliefs and values. Whatever faith we hold true to ourselves, hopefully it will be passed on to our children for those are the ones who will truly suffer in all of this. They will need all the inner strength that they can muster to live through this. |

I agree with the Christianity v. Islam conflict as it has already begun in the Middle East and around the world. Several countries have developed nuclear weapon technology. The process has already begun. Glaciers are melting and religious conflicts of interest have begun.

Your idealized end has the ring of agenda and ignores many of the real issues. Christians do not hate or even care what devouted muslims practice the way your article has laid out and the US is far from a christian, especially fundamentist, nation except for those who wish for a reason to generate anger and hated. If there is anohter WW it will not isolate around Muslims and christians. That is a very narrow view. I think your reasoning has merit but has some narcissitic elements that need to be weeded out. |
