Carla You can also rub ice cubes on it so it freezes, the pull. Its easy and efficient. I will try those suggestions though. 2/27/2008

G marshall The compressed air did not work either. The gum is still soft from the blow dryer. 6/29/2006
G Marshall Doesn't work that well. The gum does not stick to the plastic wrap. I cold only pulll little bits of gum from the carpet with my finger nails. 6/29/2006
candace I found a Great way to remove chewing gum from carpet. buy a can of compressed air , the canned air you use to clean your computer keyboard. Remove as much of the gum as you can and then turn the can of air upside down ,holding it close to the gum and spray the gum.,being VERY careful not to get it on your fingers as it will burn.then take a butter knife and flick the gum away!!!! Very fast way to remve gum and it does not harm the carpet or leave a stain . Try this and you will be amazed!!!! 6/26/2006
