Be Careful with Holosync
Being a careful observer, don’t ask me how I know, but Holosync is the probably the reason why Restless Leg Syndrome has been increasing in incident and possibly seizure activity for people- if not in the listener possibly people you may come in contact with. You don’t want that kind of karma do you? |

Hi Howie,
Ye at times it can seem like nothings really happening other than an hour's chillout. You will hit levels again though that pack a real punch. I have to agree Awakening Prologue was one of my faves, I think alot of that was due to it stirring up so much and the fact that the feeling was really new. I think you'll be pleasantly suprised along the way though. And ye your right the audio quality is pretty crap, seems like old Billy Boy is just resting on his laurels and firing out marketing info.
There is a program by transparent corp called Mind Workstation that allows you to create your own levels and add music or ambient tracks, I have Neuro Programmer their first program which is good but limited. It would appear that Mind Workstation has the lot and allows you to create high quality files. This comes at a cost of $600 though so I'm staying away from it for now. You's also need to be careful with the frequencies you set aswell to make sure you dont end up in complete chaos.
I can understand people's caution regarding this technology on this thread and it's a real shame that folks have went close to the edge with it. I would reiterate though that if you buy the program (not download it) there's a wealth of info on the fact that it will make you feel seriously challenged at times and gives you clear instruction on how to deal with it.
As I've said before I'm 8 years in and although I've had some seriously testing times with it, the instruction in the written material and Harris's book gave me clear methods of coping with this. |

I've been using Holosync for about 3 years now and have experienced real growth. I have been told that I look younger, seem very calm and centered and generally happy and confident. I've told very few people that I'm using it so their comments are proof that it does work. As others have mentioned "it's not for sissy's" and Centerpont's customer support is crap and Bill Harris's endless shilling for other "self help" folks does get annoying and destroys their credibility but it's a tough economic climate out there so I can understand.
One complaint ,however,is that I loved the Awaking Prologue but I've been underwhelmed by the rest of the series so far(I'm about to start level 5) I do notice change but it seems like a glacial pace compared to the Awaking Prologue,which was also a hell of a lot more fun. The audio quality is for crap to. I'm in broadcast television so I know something about sound and they could really use a remix. Long story short it works (I've also stopped smoking I'm sure with Holosync's help) but, like most things, there is room for improvement |

Excellently put Mickey, there are risks to using this technology and it's good of you to bring them to people's attention here. I have certainly been through alot of upheaval in my 8 years of using Holosync. What I would say though is that due to doing the hour of meditation per day and the underlying current of stability that this created for me, I was very much able to deal with even the most serious chaos stirred up by the technology.
In this day and age it is very difficult for most people to have a place to meditate due to noise pollution and the general fast paced chaotic nature of everyday life. This is where I think Holsync and similar technologies score highly in their suitability for use in our fast paced world, and as long as you read up on being self aware and easing off when needed then I think the pros far outweigh the cons.
I believe that if many more people were either aware of or used this technology then we'd have a far more settled populous in general on this planet. |

I would advise extreme caution if you are considering using this technology, especially if you suffer any mental illness. Whilst Centerpointe's advertising on line is always very persuasive and full of promises of success, the product is dangerous for people with more sever mental problems such as schizophrenia or bi-polar. Why? Because with Holosync and similar technologies, your brain is artificially stimulated to move to ever slower brain wave frequencies, similar to those attained in deep meditation by experienced meditators. The difference is that you have no control over this process and your mind is not involved, whereas traditional meditation requires an effort and a concentration of the mind. Why would this make a difference? Because your mind will only present to you stressful subconscious material that you can handle as it's prime function is your mental, emotional and physical safety. Steady, traditional meditation is a controlled process. Holosync and other binaural technologies are not. By forcing your brain waves into the frequencies of deep meditation without any control by you and without years of practice for that experience, you can literally open a Pandora's Box of repressed material that can and often will emerge without the safety of subconscious mind control. That is why so many letters reveal some very painful and stressful experiences by users. Should some of your repressed material be of a serious nature that has been causing severe mental problems you run the very real risk of exacerbating those problems leading to psychosis or worse. |

well, this holo sync is very encouraging for me. I've been meditating without any tools or help (just simple meditation) for 8 years now, but just started to use this holo sync. It works by helping me to reach the Alpha level faster and getting to Theta level after 20 minutes. Try it out yourself. |

I've used Holosync with terrific results and just recently switched to Perfect Meditation, which is equally as good, maybe better. My only reason for switching was the cost and then Perfect Meditation allows you to decide what level and when, though they make suggestions similar to Holosync. I also feel that Holosync having an "Inner Circle," gives the wrong message. I couldn't afford the elitist group so I wouldn't get the same level of support, so I moved on. |

I am finishing purification level four and it has taken me 8 years as I had so much crap in my brain due to an abusive childhood that I had to take a year off twice during the programme to adjust to the changes... Its not for sissies thats for sure, you are forced to face your demons and it takes time to move through the layers, but you are more than compensated throughout the programme with long intermittent periods feeling absolute peace and total fulfilment, the world could fall apart around you and you would move intelligently and calmly with compassion through the chaos and you would accept that its all working out for your highest good...then you start the next level and would you believe it more demons and you seem to be fighting with everyone, but you get through because you know when they have dissipated.. you know to be at peace, peak mental acuity, full of compassion and love... unphased by the chaos in the world.. is worth going working through those layers. I don't even identity with who I was 8 years ago. I am more physically beautiful than I have ever been I am a fifty year old single mother and am often told that I look 38. I look 10 years younger now than I did 10 years ago. My daughters are 14 and 13 years and we are all full of love the few battles we do have fizzle out very quickly. I would recommend holosync to anyone who had a troubled childhood, because it will rid you of all that negative programming that what not of your choosing.Love your self enough to get into holosync and stick with it... you deserve it. |

I have been using Holosync for 8 years and am now on Flowering LvL 2.
I must say that the program is very powerful and it has certainly helped me to make huge changes in my life. I have though over the past year discovered other programs (Life Flow and The Meditation Solution) which cost a fraction of the price of Holosync and are equally as powerful in my opinion. In hindsight with what I know know would I still have done the Holosync levels? Yes as all of these programs are very enlightening to progress through. However, the customer service on Holosync has definately suffered as the company have grown over the past 5 years. Not in terms of the prodcut itself, but more in relation to the lack of discounted offers and free cd's of seminars which used to be made available to Inner Circle members such as myself. Also, Bill Harris's aggresive marketing emails became something that I had to unsubscribe from.
So, Holosync is definately a winner, but still uses now dated technology and there are other programs out there which are using modern tech and are much better value for money.
Hope you all get what you are looking for from Meditation, I definately did ^^ |

I'm into Level 1 Purification. I appreciate the tip that I need to sit still for 5 or more minutes after each session. Obviously, if I've gotten this far with Holosync I must be enthusiastic about it. I will share the down side: this technology rinses out your toxic thoughts. It is not nice because you feel them and see them and it is hard to accept "Yes. this is me". The only solution is to KEEP ON USING HOLOSYNC! One day it is over and you are free of the crap, believe me (user since April 2005). All these negative comments I read are just like my sister who got Level One and enjoyed the relaxation but hated the depression when she had to face herself..so she wanted her money back!. It's not Holosync's fault if you have tons of crap in your brain; it is trying to help you clean it out. Look at all the nasty comments above. Only people who tried and stopped! I found that Learning Strategies CDs did nothing for me compared to Holosync. I don't regret one penny or one minute I spent on it. |

I've used Holosync every day for about 6 years now and am on Purification Level 4. I remember reading the testimonials from centerpointe and marvelled at the incredible experiences people were saying they've had. I can't say I've had anything really dramatic at any one listening but I do think that over the years that I've changed quite a bit. I feel I have more awareness to my thought process and things don't seem to annoy and get to me nearly as much as before and I feel that I have a much more optimistic and positive approach to life in general. It's hard to say whether Holosync was the cause of this or not.
If nothing else, it has got me sitting down still and quiet and observing my thoughts and feelings for an hour a day which most likely I wouldn't have kept up as consistantly if I hadn't been using Holosync. |

I have used Holosync for over 2 years and just ordered Purification 1.
The biggest thing I have found is to take 5 + minutes after the meditation to allow the mind, body and spirit to reintegrate.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I'm a die-hard skeptic, but after five years of Holosync meditation, I have to admit that my life has changed for the better. I am finishing up Level 6 (Purification 2) and have ordered the next level.
During this time I've done alot of things that I even swore that I never would. I never intended to give up meat when I started with Holosync. I never intended to quit smoking, ever. I ended up altering my lifestyle in spite of an enormous amount of resistance from the beginning.
That's not to say that you have to give up meat to be a spiritual person. I think everybody has their own personal priorities and different things work for different people. Would I have made these changes without Holosync? Maybe, but considering how long I'd been on a self-destructive path, I'm not so sure.
I won't go so far as to say that Holosync changed my life, but I can say for certain that my life changed for the better (much better) after beginning Holosync meditation. |

I've been using the 1st level for over 4 weeks now. I have have had a lot of "stuff" surface and use The Sedona Method or EFT to help deal with issues as they surface. So far I've done a lot of clearing but I can tell it's going to take a little time. I am starting to get a little better at "witnessing" which makes a big difference. Bill Harris says this level takes at least 4 months. I can see it taking between 4 and 6 months for me. It's different for everyone. It's no magic pill, and like anything else it takes committment. |

If you liked Holosync, try the Hemisync CD's. I've used both systems (and to be honest it's all much more of the same and very enjoyable) for 4 years now and have been able to become more centered and aware/conscious at many levels. Hemisync is from the Monroe institute and imho less commercialy inclined than the holosync group, but that's just an opinion and both systems are as I said, much more of the same.
