Most people allover the world ignore the basic fact that is at the epicenter of most of the problems in the Middle East. The Arabic – speaking populations are not Arabs; they are Aramaeans.

Sargon Yohanna I disagree about the comment on the Assyrians ending after the Medes destroyed Nineveh. What about the fact that the Assyrians assimilated the Arameans. It's a known fact that Assyrians and Babylonians would deport the conquered people and move them to urban areas of the empire in order to make them Assyrian. How are you going to state that they all simply dissapeared? How are you going to present something about Cimmerian. Also what do you base your theory about them being a pure race on? And also why have we been using Assyrian names such as Sargon, Ashur, Sencharib, Nimrod, Shamiram, Ninweh, etc. for generations. Also the stories of their lives have been passed down orally from generation to generation before the arival of the Euro Peons in to the Middle East durring/post Ottoman times? 9/13/2006
