Avatar - the concept of Avaatar in Hinduism (manifest God)... does it hold good?
Who shall be this Avatar? Shall this Avatar descend from the heaven as is expected by many or shall he be a normal human being with supernatural powers? Lord Krishna was an Avatar and so is Bhagwan Kalki expected to be an Avatar.
We need to understand why the need for an Avatar exists at all. Why the mankind at a certain phase in the cosmic cycle needs an Avatar? Can we really not manage without an Avatar?

You have written well and the thoughts are very clear, but as i read them i wanted to know a few things.
1. Why do we need avatars at the first place ? Is it that this so called avtar who comes from god as you have mentioned, failed in his attempts to set things right during his time, that the next one has to come in as time moves on.
It makes me question the avtar who has come and his potency ? is he really from God?
2. In the hindu concept of time, its is not linear its circular that means after each yuga, the other one follows and then finally when the clock comes back - it all starts again, In this case dont you think its too sadistic to know that the people in the chakra are just going thru the circles and god sends the avtars who cant set things aright ? Given the plight of mankind and the battle of life that everyone fights, Is god playing games ? And when do you think its all going to be over ? Does god have time for all this ? What is his purpose behind all this that is happening ?
3. You said God is not a living entity - well then how can he create anything, if he is not alive ?
You said he is a collection of souls? so does he grow as more souls are joined to him ? Does nt that make god an ever changing being .. but then can he be someone who is evolving ? how can then he be the absolute the un changing.
You said its the collective power .. but then i understand that power needs a source, it cant come into being by itself.. and then entropy ? also power needs to be controrlled in order to perform good and deliver results. so who does that to the power god ?
4. You said God the almighty never manifest and in the next para you said by yogo the avtar become the manifest of god himself ? isnt it contradictory and self refuting?
5. If simple yoga can convert a normal human in to an avtar then why do we need avtar s at the first place..god should have sent a yoga trainer and this would have solved all the problems?
