so . I am not siding anyone on thos issue. I am siding the true nature of ethiopian history. Ethiopian hisory of civililzation started from Punt, Damat, and great higher level during the axumite emlpire which was a slave owners socio-economic formation and was advanced development as far as using money coin, cottege industry, and making outside relations in asia and far east. Later mixed with the tribes of the south yemen and south europeans together with its own different ethnic people of the south, easr, west of present Ethiopia. However in the 16th century slaves were sold by feudal lords of varios ethnic tribes ie amhara, gala, guraghe, tegray, sidama, aba giffar, etc to the present so called Middle EAst countriea ( just as now our young girls are migrating for modern slavery which second time savery ), It was during that time especially the ottoman turks people ( it was in power that time ) called us Habesh meaning mixed people as we were sold by all feudal lord as means of income commodity (not by the ruling amhara or tigray rulers as government export commodity ).Hence, actually the word Habes was also used to mean the Abysinian slave. Just like Fereji means white slave which was very expensive . So countries name Abysinia originated from the Habes ( Ethiopian slave ) as Habesenia which later become Abyssinia. So this doesn't denote only the tirgray and amhara, but also all tribes from all parta of ethiopia b/c all tdribes were sold from all regions and hence Abyssinian means all the present Ethiopian people, For example, Onesmos- the Wellega gala sold and taken as slave and fortunately taken to Europe and came back as a missionary to baptize the wellega Oromo and his nameis famous aroue Gimbi and has missionery training school in this areas and in the present Kambata protestants, too. An other example is called Belal who was resposible to be the guy who wrote the first section of Quran of the Muslem. Belal was educated chriatian who has been take from nothern ethiopia. So the fact that all fo the present ethiopian were sold as slaves and hence the ;name ab yssia touches all all of us and completely doesn't indicate only amhara and tigray people. But the name Ethioppia means (by Greeks ) means Sun burnt face b/c it shows our blackness . This was to indicate black people who live south of south of Europe after crossoing the mediterrnean sea. we are fortunate to have this name b/c it would have been suited to call the present Africa as Ethiopia. My Prof. please try to read history of Dr. Lapiso hisory analysis. Shaun E. Marmon's research studies (on slavery inMamlils Empire ), and very many princeton papers work . By the way I want to note you that the Axumite Empire was ruling as far as Gambella and all over, But the butcher Melese in order to use divide and rule tactic declared that Ethiopian history is only 100 years. This shows ether he doesn't know thse hisotry of ethiopia or purposely denies and lies to tell the truth b/c Melese- the woyane leaser completely doesn't have Ethiopan agenda. ...Last but not least it is incumbent to examine the background of this perpetrator of hatred. Who is this Professor of Evil who is passionate about the extermination of a people? What is his qualification? The professor has kindly provided, his rather amusing curriculum vitae at Buzzle for all to see and examine. In line with his logorrhea style of writing, the curriculum vitae is a document peppered with a smattering of mainly short courses taken in a variety of institutions in France, Greece, London, and Germany. At the age of about forty he also seems to have been student in a Maddrasa in Iran, where he seems to have traded his former Greek name Cosmas for Mohammed and probably became an adherent of a radical version of Islam! Amusingly he also seems to have attended two or more separate colleges in two different countries at the same time (Paris and Athens). His fields of study is a laundry list of subjects which are appropriate for, an scattered academic of jack of all trades with no particular exhaustive specialization in any particular endeavor that befits one dedicated to the academic life. He also claims to have knowledge of several languages (he claims to have average knowledge in many), including surprisingly two of the languages of the hated Ethiopians, Gueze and Abbysinian (although no such language exists!). For a person who has attained the rank of a professor he has surprisingly included his high school certificate just in case his readers will worry that he has not been to high school! He caps all this with thesis, he acknowledges is unpublished. It is not surprising that nobody would have published the obscure and esoteric subject matter of the so called thesis, "The Northern and Eastern Borders of the Sargoid Empire and the End of Assyria". One wonders where the Sargoid empire is (Hopefully it is not from the Star Wars Trilogy!). Another comical and unusual entry in the curriculum vitae under a title of, "Professors in my Postgraduate Studies", renders an encyclopedic jungle of names and institutions, languages, and peoples, and various part time, editorial boards, business names etc. etc. provided in a dense and impenetrable schizoid echolalia, spilling into a morass of pages. Even a loving mother let alone a casual reader will find it difficult to read if this was a book written by a prodigy of four years let alone one who claims to be a famous professor. The most surprising part of the curriculum vitae for a professor, who must reveal his scholarly undertaking in precise enumeration and references, is entered as follows, "Here are not included hundreds of lengthy entries published in Greek encyclopedias (although several dozed of entries exceed 10000 words each….and articles/features published in various media (despite many articles exceed 10000 words each….". The word count (logorrhea), seem to be more important to the "professor" than the subject matter of his writings! Under books, which he claims to have written a dozen or more (none of which are available through the usual sources) are not available for review by the general readership, but the professor points to reviews of his books at an obscure internet site, bookcrossing-com. What a surprise! A few books written by one Cosmas Megalommatis, presumably the self-same professor, probably authored during his pre-Islamic Greek phase are presented without excerpts or information on their contents. The review of these books seem to have been written in the logorrhea style, reminiscent of the professors other writings! All the books were also rated with ten stars! What a farce! In his writings on the internet (his academic venue) the self-obsessed megalomaniacal professor includes pictures of himself both hirsute (a la Nietzsche), and sometimes clean shaven (with a Cheshire cat smile). Those who enjoy Moliere and other farcical writings should visit Buzzle in order to read this comical drivel. Authors of fiction may find enough grist for a great read here.
In conclusion, in an age of overabundance of information and the lack of accountability, charlatans and quacks, claiming to be messiahs and hiding their evil and nefarious intents in quasi-sensible abound. One of this, the self-proclaimed, Neo-Hitler, Megalommatis, should only be seen as a filed comic, who should be read for amusement rather than as a source of reliable information. |
