MSMegalommatis This is common allover the world; the ancient world either in Greece and Syria or in Meroe and Egypt rejected Christianity because it contradicted the nature of all - different one from another - ancient cultures and civilizations.

The Meroitic rejection of Christianity (seen as sheer ignorance, aggressive barbarism, obscurantism, sub-culture of the uneducated, and utter hatred of the arts and the sciences) is not different from the reaction of the great female philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria, Emperor Julian's denigration of Christianity, and the attitude of the High Priests and Philosophers of so many countries from Carthage to Rome and from Athens to Antioch.
