Mrs C Lenton Tyndall, may have been many things, but he was a believer in Britain, and its people. He never shirked for fear nor favour. A patriot to the end. 1/15/2006

Richard Zelger John Tyndall was a man who did not compromise in his beliefs. I did not agree with much he had to say, but i respected his staunch unflinching stance. For his beliefs, he was beaten, imprisoned, repeatedly attacked, (including his wife), and finally at the old age of 71 brought before a court for having the opinions that many of his generation held, and by the signs of the ever-growing bnp, more and more people are starting to share those worrying beliefs.

Whatever my opinion of Mr Tyndall, it seems to me that great men are often found in suprising places. John Tyndall may have been one of them.
