Adult Ear Infection: Complications, Treatments and Prevention

In one of every four cases in children, ear infection is not caused by a bacterial infection but by a viral infection. Viruses often cause adult ear infection as well. Viral infections are much more difficult to eliminate.

susan i have taken amoxicillin for the ear infection, but still can't hear out of my ear, it has been well over two weeks, can you give me some advice, i had finished the medication, over a week and a half ago

stephen mathies I had fluid in my ear for over 2 years, nothing seems to work for me. Going crazy, sound like I'm under water all the time, mostly in my left ear. I've been to the doctor many times. Can anyone help me? thanks.
