Cindy and the story goes on and on and on...I really loved Loren...and probably always will...pushed him away as his problems seem to rub off on the ones that he is around. Drugs, no he did not do drugs around me and I was around him for 3 years...so who ever you are that is saying that he doesn't and if the system failed the vicitms that is the systems fault, you dont know him like I did. He is far from perfect and so are the rest of us, please dont think that I condon anything he has done in his past to others. Only God will judge us, I've been hurt by him, but only because I allowed it, let myself get to close. I pray for him and wish him well...I wish him a Happy and Safe 2012. After much analysis, talking to myself and whatnot, I would really hate to have the worst day of my life destroy the remainder of my life. Loran seems to have had a tumultuous youth; in 1986, he experienced a psychotic episode of the most epic proportion. We are talking magnitude. And maximum security facilities are NOT country clubs. Especially considering the other inmates, guards, these men are all fathers, husbands, brothers...he has been punished. The beast (criminal justice system) devoured him, as well it needed to. And he later talked it into regurgitating him. That is no small feat. If you are a teacher in a crowded, underfunded school, a student hacking into the school computer and stealing the test results and turning profit by selling said test answers, you may know that the student is at least intelligent enough to have pulled that off. The student should pass, not with an A. He was smart enough to do what he did. Loran talked his way out of something quite intractable. He should pass. Not with an A. He was stable enough to juggle spinning plates without breaking any.
I am still aghast at the ineptitude of the Criminal Justice System.
I have arrived at a place of which I do not pass any more personal judgement against Loran Huss.
This does not mean that my heart does not recognize what Marilyn Sheets suffered at his hands. No one should have to die like that; no one should ever have to bury their daughter or sister like the Sheets did. Please do not misinterpret the above paragraph(s) to mean I dismiss the atrocity of what happened in 1986.		 12/6/2011
Same a below I'm still not telling who I am. I'm not in his environment, don't know him personally. But I am bipolar. I do not believe he is, or was. The professionals within the justice system here are all over the map.
I came back to ask something I feel very important, not even directly relating to Huss. The overturned conviction in 2001 would NOT exonnerate him from the earlier rape convictions.
His CHOICE to not put himself on the sex offender registry?
I did not know their was a choice here. That overturning in 2001 does not change the early '80's. Statute of Limitations maybe?

I'm not telling wow. Someone bipolar, manic (I am, right now in fact...)...we don't mix well in group activities. Gang rape participant? Not a bipolar person in a manic state. That just angers me. Maybe that state, induced by methamphetamine useage, could drive the symptoms to a match. Didn't anyone look at his urine when the gang rape happend? Marilyn Sheets arrest? Doctors would immediately test blood now. The meth would negate the initial claim of bipolar and a reassessment ordered after being detoxed.
AND...
Bipolar does NOT go AWAY when that individual enters the prison system for what sounds like the rest of your life. The most stressful place he's ever been. His bipolar disorder would have spiked off the charts, so to speak. Not disappear. Bipolar may chill, but t doesn't go away forever and ever. He wasn't bipolar. Maybe the lifestyle of using drugs (I know what I am talking about here) exascerbates the mood swings of a bipolar...or can mimic the disorder completely. Who assessed him in the eighties? Who diagnosed him? Seriously, I would like to research their credentials.

Anyway, someone in my life has worked with the guy. He lives VERY well right now, parties with really hot chicks (my source's words). Eyes are quietly watching him. Has his own place, does not SEEM to be working. Has money.

Who Knows He can be a good person, manitputler yes, but he is not all bad..it was terrible what happened. Just think he knows he's been loved and hope that he has made amends with the demons in his life...he kind of grows on you and he is greatly missed but...doesn't change anything 10/12/2011
Wonder Who And he was receiving food stamps from the State of Iowa after being incarcerated relating to his OWI II...He had over $1500 on it when he got out...I think that is called FRAUD...And he pretends to be a law abiding citizen...LMAO...do you think he will pay them back, truth known he is probably still getting them... Oh and he says he's working on a book...I think I know more about the truth then he does...oh I forgot he was insane, how would that work? Guess Who How does he manipulate every system including the courts...he wasnt placed on probation as "he wouldn't be treated fairly" per the judge himself after his second OWI, which by the way he hasn't paid a dime for. He sued his mother's former townhouse association and also had the help of Mike Adams, who by the way works as a sexual predator attorney for the State of Iowa with that and him suing DMACC...of course these associations wanted nothing to do with Loren or his threats of his rights so they just pay him off...You will find Loren any given weekend spending his "bribe money" playing poker, laughing at all of you fools, either at the Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa or Mesquaki in Tama, Iowa, where he frequents more often as they give him discounted rooms ladies, and men...Oh yes, Loren admitted he has been with men and only after the fact that I needed to be treated for something...He is a real stand up act and to hear him explain that he didn't swallow Marilyn's nose, they just couldn't find it, obviously shows his denial...he denied he was sane, he denies he is insane, well what is he, a prodigy of the devil himself...oh its all in his laugh...Keep letting the tax payers pay for his non-schooling, his freaky social life, and he is not and never will be a person with any intergrity...so go see him at one of the casino's and hear him laugh as he takes your money when he should have had the death sentence...maybe someday if there truly is karma...ONLY IN IOWA 9/9/2011
Wonder who to know Loren is to love him and to hate him...although we all create our own problems in life, he doesn't ever seem to be supopstive to people who have put themselves out for him...the opposite in my opinion...I hope people continute to do so, but he is the straw that broke the camels back when it comes to my life...good bye 5/14/2011

Tomcat This clown tried to kill my mother in 1980 I was furious when he was released. He should have fried then! The effed up legal system let him go to kill marylin sheets. Flying Dutchman I got to know Loren in 2006 and found out about his past. What I learned about his past, via the internet, were deeds that are in an understatement horrible. However, I learned Loren as a sane person, who even wanted to face life face to face. I unfortunately lost contact with Loren, but I hope we will be able to hook up some time. I would say that the justice system set him free in '05. His serving of time and him being exhonorated should not need to be continued by those of the free society, in my opinion. Let the man get a life. And I hope the man uses his life to actually not pursue a belated American dream (in a casino with or without free drinks), but will surpass that by serving his neighbor --even if by a lack of trust this will likely be in a restricted way. 7/30/2009

Judge Liberals,
the jurors that set him free, should be forced to live right next door to him, with their daughters and sons . They[liberla jurors] convict and condem more for MUCH lesser crimes than what has taken place here! Get caught with a small amount of pot, and lose your job, your car, your freedom....eat someones face off, and kill them, write on the walls with their blood, rape and rob a female, participate in a gang rape, and then be released to live your 'normal' life as if you have NEVER comitted a crime in your life! This sick M-----F----- should not be allowed to be free, and when he kills again, rub the blood of the victim[s] in the face of those jurors that set him free!!
