Elisa I have dark blue/green eyes with a starburst of brown in the middle. I tried Freshlook Colorblends Opaques. They give an odd effect that the cornea is raised/more rounded. It reminds me of Data's eyes in the old Star Trek TV show. I really don't like them. Even though the color is realistic (except in the bright blue one which looked fake -- I was allowed to try samples of each color at Walmart when I presented my prescription), there is something very unnatural and almost in-human about the look they give eyes. I'd rather have the color be harder to believe and not look like an alien or reptile or something!!

I also tried their color enhancers and while my eyes are a little too dark to get a dramatic change, I think someone with lighter eyes would be VERY happy. I tried blue and green and literally couldn't tell they weren't my own color. But they would never work at all on brown eyes.		 11/19/2005
