rane13 Was a good introduction to ferrets for sure....but people need to be more aware of the costs that vet bills can add up to as well as the high maintenance side of them. I worked for a ferret rescue and we got so many ferrets surrendered because they would get sick and people could not afford to pay for the surgery that their ferret needed. Or they did not understand why their cute little ferret started to get nasty and bite them...after all they let it out of the cage for an hour a day.....where they need at least 4 or more hours.... 11/19/2005
