| Read comment | Chocolate is made from Slavery. Can you write an article about that? I mean, seriously, we just keep enjoying the sweetness of it, but innocent children are suffering. Please, if someone like you doesn't write an article, no matter how hard we try, we wont be able to wipe this disgusting mark of the face of Human Civilization. Please, I might sound like and adult, but I'm actually just a fourteen year old kid researching about her project. Before this, I thought my world was awesome, I knew there was slavery, but not in chocolate. I want to stand up to it now. I'm doing everything a teen can, but it's not enough. Please, please, please, we have to spread awareness about this topic. Don't dismiss this as random comments you get because let me tell you, if you had a heart, the next time you ate chocolate, you should be wondering, "Is this equal to eating the kid who made this? Is me eating chocolate the same as eating his flesh?" Please, we have to do something. What if it was your child doing this? Maybe not your CHILD, but someone you loved? |
