Sarah Columbine has really interesed me since I watched Elephant by Gus Van Sant- a fictionalized movie of the school shooting. It's fascinating how troubled teens idolized Eric and Dylan after the massacre -some kids boasting they wanted to finish the job. Ive been on many Columbine comment sites and you would believe all there supporters!

little Note:
To think these kids were some sort of geniuses is a mistake. nahh, they werent nothin but normal kids like you and me.a last fuse blew, and suddenly they lost feeling. Yes,being a reject your whole life is hard but once you get past highschool that really does stop.

Just because they did something that seemed fantasy-doesnt mean they had some sort of genius to them.perhaps kids who had it rough like them think Eric and Dylan were martyrs of the nobodies giving the losers a voice. But that was no voice, there were no words spoken for fairness and acceptance-nope just violence being yelled back through a gun...violence. solves all our problems right?		 6/4/2008
Bags As frightening as these school shooting are, they are not something new that began with Columbine. If I remember correctly there was a school shooting in Maine back in the 20's or 30's. During the 50's and 60's when there were rifle clubs in the schools we didn't have this sort of thing go on. It was unknown, pretty much. I wish we could figure out why these children feel driven to do this. I wish we knew how to help them before they get to this point. 4/5/2008

haily from sc This is really another trajic event. I am doing a report on Columbine and both these school shootings really make me even scared to come to my own school. I hate that our world has ended up in KIDS killing other students and even there self. I am sorry to everyone that had to go through this. Im really deeply sorry... I am in high school now as a freshman and reading this and Columbine has really taught me the cosequences of bullying and cliques. I will know better... if only Eric, Dylan, and Jeff did... 9/30/2005
LIz What was so wrong with this kid that he couldn't get help? I mean was there only one security gaurd on duty? We will probably never know but this is a very sad thing that has happened and my heart goes out to everyone involved with this accident. May god be with you. 3/24/2005
Nancy Karklin I think someone, some where ,had to know this kid was going though a lot of head trips,with what happened to his mother and father,and being so quiet about it was a clue that someone should have ? and saw that he got the proper help and therapy,I'm not blaming anyone person ,but I think this could have been avoided. 3/22/2005
