Alan Duggan I've been working in Tesco Ireland Ltd in Galway,Ireland for nearly 4 years on the checkouts, and in the last 6-8 months I got 2 Final Written Warnings for losing 400 Euro in scam that a romanian man took from me and also for letting my sister, (a third party) use my Staff Discount Card which is against the Company rules. And for each Final Written Warning that I was given, the Personnel Manager, Checkout Manager, Line Manager, Store Union Representative and Store Manager made me read out word for word of the warning and making me sign them, I was told this was bullying. What do I do now. Is there anything I have to do to stop them Bullying me again. 8/3/2011
jj Wow! Really! It sounds as if you're condoning bullying. Either that or you use words or phrases out of context. So what if a person dresses differently, that gives another person the right to harass them? NOT! Then you tell people to be complacent? How stupid do you think people are who are reading your B.S. Maybe you need to look at yourself. You're contradictory in your statements & then you make it sound like, "WHY DON'T YOU JUST GIVE UP AND FIND A NEW JOB". REALLY? Get a perscription from a doctor! Are you serious? Yeah, another "dummy them down" so we can take more of their rights away trash. You're an idiot! Get a tape recorder & tape the stuff they're talking, then when you get home write everything down word for word, time of day, month, day of month & so on. Then contact Human Resources & let them know what's going on. I had Human Resources come to a company I worked for in the 90's, my supervisor had everybody meet him in another room but me. He decided he was gonna talk about me to the others & I wasn't gonna do anything about it. I walked off the job the next day because I wasn't gonna play the game. Needless to say, the company didn't last too long after that, it went under & closed down. Only quit your job if it's the last resort & don't worry GOD DOESN'T LIKE UGLY! HE SEES WHAT'S IN YOUR HEART & IF YOU'RE A GOOD PERSON, THINGS WILL WORK OUT! 3/4/2011

stacy v i have experienced bullies at my present place of employment. wow boy have I! Bulling is a form of mental games and is particfularly stressful to individuals who have problems with anxiety and depression.. I t can deepen their depression and anxiety levels and for what? I t makes the other person feel like they are the Boss'! In charge of you and your co-workers! wow what an accomplishment! Its very stressful in office settings and working in adult group homes where there should be more compassion wow Its hard to fathom what goes on in some of these group homes, I feel sorry for the clients! Employees can leave but they can't ! 9/8/2010
venessa b yes there are many types of bullies to deal with its hard when they are in a higher position then you at places of employment. they think they can run with the wind and get away with it. you have to expose the bully monsters only live in the dark. 9/8/2010

siggpuppy Yes, walk with knowledge and use your brain is very important. Hardly see senior managers pay attention to such a case like this as experienced, HR is the same way, don't expect them.
