Epileptic Conditions

Epilepsy is a rather scary condition characterized by convulsions, episodes of sudden, involuntary muscle contractions, etc. These may involve fogging in extreme cases, especially by patients through their mouth.

Sarah (R.N.)	Almost everything here is totally false. NEVER put anything in a pesons's mouth who is having a sezire. And trust me, seizures are NOT psychological. If that was the case then how would babies have seizures, espcially seizures that are identical to those in adults. I'm not sure what the author's qualifications are but nothing in this article should be taken as fact. It is almost entirely nonsense.	4/30/2008
Adrian	This is garbage. NEVER put anything in a person's mouth when they are having a seizure. If you are looking for accurate information and help with epilepsy, please consult a recognised charity. Emeralds will not "heal" epilepsy. Please seek proper medical opinion if you or a family member is affected by epilepsy.	12/11/2007
