Hi Pooja, It depends on your body's response to anything you take in. So please consult your physician in case if you think shatavari is causing acne problem for you. It might be a case where you are facing a problem of acne due to the excess heat generated in your body as an effect of you taking shatavari ... that means you need to first decide what quantity of shatavari is safe for you on daily basis and you also need to check if you should try to find out in what way you can dissipate the excess heat generated in your body, which will minimize the problem of acne.
Hope this helps! Nilesh Parakh |

Hi anita, It depends on your physical condition and the severity of PCOS you are dealing with. Shatavari does help but it has its own limitations, even though its not harmful for health, I would suggest you to please consult a good physician (who has knowledge of herbs) before you try doses of shatavari.
Ayurveda can help you in your condition. I pray to almighty to give you what you desire for! ALL THE BEST!
Hope this helps! Nilesh Parekh |

Your information is very helpful, yet I am looking for the specific hormones that Shatavari contains. I suspect it is a phyto-estrogen, and I am wondering if there are progesterone or other properties. Thank you, zhena@pagosa.net |
