I am skeptical that these stages apply to every individual and in that specific order. Some relationships begin with commitment. Some begin with physical passion. Also, some of these elements do not instantly occure, but develop over time. |

This is almost verbatim to Ruth D. Kerce' writings. Interesting way of looking at things.
'Love' is a word we as humans have tagged on to a pleathora of feelings and thoughts that are very hard to understand and control or even accept. THought I am a Christian, I like the way the Greek and Roman astrologists explain (in atheir usual symbolic coneection to their 'Gods') how humans are afected by these things. THe fact that 'eroticism' as a part of 'love' may not be sexual at all, but deeply intellectual or emotional.
To the previous comments, take a look at 'how stuff works' web sites and their chemical descriptions of loving. Very interesting indeed!

its a rock that is smoothed over by an ever flowing stream.. once the stream has smoothend the stone then its love... its not in your loins ether, .... love is a concept that saddly nolonger excists in todays world.. the word is thrown around more then a pear of underpants at a limp bizkit concert..... love is found by the soul... sometimes by the heart...... good luck... |

Love is a decision. It is the decision to sacrifice oneself for the well being of the beloved no matter what the cost. If the cost of love causes you to hesitate you are not yet capable of giving yourself away to another saying "I will be yours and you will be mine." You see. love is an exchange of persons! |
