Pat Thank you Good set of step by step instructions for a beginner like me, I went into fenwicks in london just before xmas last year and was shopping for my daughter, the supervisor kept calling out at my manicurist and didnt seem to want her to spend time on me I suppose I have square thick set hands and I didnt dress like the city women. They made me feel like rubbish so I vowed never to have my nails done again or go there again. 9/1/2008

Pat I use a nail clipper to cut my nails. Your second step here says to avoid the corners of the nails. Does this mean I should not clip my nails down along the side of the cuticle? I don't know what shape I want, so could you please tell me how to get an oval shape? Thank you for your help 8/9/2006
Teresa Thank you for making it easy. I have always wondered if I was filing my nails correctly ... wet or dry. And I agree with the do it myself instead of paying someone else the money. I'll keep that for myself! 7/25/2006
