Albert I have to write a paper comparing this model with spiral, iterative and V-model. I've got a lot of info from this site (thanks!), the wikipedia article and waterfall-model. com, but there are still some things I dont get.

Almost every author ive read about this subject is very critical towards this model.
Are there any real-life examples today where it would be wise to use such a model? Can anyone give examples?

Or is this model so outdated that it is only relevant to students who are writing papers?		 4/26/2011
