Paul Simpson	I was 29 and had a SAH 5 years ago and thanks to the surgeons at the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham i am here today. I would say i have recovered very well, but still get headaches,light headed/ dizzy very short tempered and tiredness can come and go at any time of the day. T	I had a brain hemorrhage a year and a half ago. I am writing this in the hope that those of you who are worrying that your loved ones suffered pain may read it and know this: I was not in any pain until some weeks after the bleed. On the day of the "insult" I felt no pain. I was also much calmer than I could have imagined I would be when facing my own possible extinction. Living with the aftermath -- I have left side paralysis -- is hard, but dying in this way would not have been painful. As for precautions for those worried about having a bleed, I would recommend that you take care about using too much aspirin. While aspirin can prevent strokes due to clots, it can increase risk of bleeds (including bleeds in the brain.) I was definitely taking too much aspirin. So take heed.	5/4/2010

Teresa C	My Mother age 52 Died feburary 28th of this year.. Her Autopsy say's she died of an intracerebral hemorrhage. The toxicologist told me that she felt no pain at all when this happened that it was instantaniously.. That it inatantly paralyzed both sides of her body so she felt nothing.. I've done a little research and have found nothing about it paralyzing you to where you don't feel anything.. I hope my mother felt nothing, But I believe the toxicologist is lying to me to keep my insanity knowing my mother died piecefully.. Swati Niranjan	My father had brain hemorrhagein 2008, He dropped me at my college in the morning for my exams were going on n in the after noon the phone came that he had brain hemorrhagein. For me it was the toughest moment bcoz without panicking i have to support my mother n my siblings, n no other person at home. God helped me n i took him to PGI lucknow where the doctor told us to sign the papers that they cannot take his responsibility n if anything happens to him it will be our responsibility. But by god's grace he was cured within 10 days but he lost his voice n his right side of the body was paralysed. Within 2 mths he cured himself n started walking. He received his voice back but not so clear.,..,.,.,. I would pray to god that no one should from this.	3/27/2010

gary r	hi there...back in sept 08.. i hd suffered brain hemerage.. after being rushed to hospital and after having a c.t scan it showed i suffered a major brain bleed.. i was then transfered to specialist hospital in london...the bleed was that bad its caused tissue damage to my left vision...then in may 09 i had to have major brain surgery to remove loads of vessals on the brain... i'm ok now i'm working still and i take anti epilepsy pills due to brain trauma of hemerage and angiogram scans...i still have vision impairment in my left eye... was fount i had abnormality of the vessals on the brain and blood was flowing from the artery to the vein via the vessls and built up pressure over time til it burst causing the hemerage... its rare and you never know u have abnormality of the vessls on the brain...may been from birth...just lies dormant...so if you suffer from stress or anythging to get the blood pumping/racing is not a good thing!	2/26/2010

Sam	The information was very simple and easy to understand even for someone like me who has no medical knowledge. My mother has brain hemorrhage stroke 11months ago and till date is bedridden. No operation was performed and she continues to be on ventilator as she does not maintain her oxygen level. She was uncouncious for 1month and then when she did gain counsiousness, her eyes continously kept rolling. As of date today, she is now able to focus her eyes, she understands everything we say, but is not able to move either her hands, feet or mouth. However, she shows 'sudden bursts of recovery' wherein suddenly she responds to everything we say. For example we ask her to lift her hands, and she does it. We ask her to close her eyes, and she does it. We ask her to move her left leg, and she does it. This joy lasts only for that day and then the next day, she is again lifeless. My question, is this sign of recovery?. Would an operation to stich the blood vessels help now?. Thank you for your time.	7/26/2009

julie thompson	I think there should be more publisity about brain hemorrhages at how it can run in familys. Our family as had bad experiences with this myself had 2 but as you say its all about luck. I came through and had some problems but got on with life after a couple of years i was 27 years old.Then 6 years ago my brother died at 43 with a hemorrhage 2 years my other brother died of one at the age of 43 but he was aware that he was having one the ambulance staff and hospital staff dint believe that he was untill a few hours later after been laid on a troolley in a and e he then had another which lead to his death 8 days later then 6 month after he died my sister died at the age of 49 we were all suppose to be getting tested but the nhs as it is dont rush even though this was bad then my younger brother was operated on and had 3 clipped. You will have to collect all the proofs (such as doctor's diagnosis in which he/she wrongly assumed that the BH your mother was suffering from was nothing but migrane attack, bills of the clinic/hospital etc.) of the incidence that had occurred so as to bring your case to justice. sujan	i read your article because i recently lost my mother due to BH. i had taken her to the hospital after she felt unconcious with series of vommiing.the doctors in the eergency room said that the case was that of migraine.so without suggesting any st scan or other diagnosis they discharged my mother at midnight .then in the middle of the night i saw my mother feeling difficut to breathe .by the time she was already unconcious.we quikly took her to the hospital.but we had made it late.after 2 days she said goodbye. had i known the syptoms earlier i could have saved her.i want to know whether the symptoms of migraine are similar to that of migraine.i would very thankful if u would answer this .what kind of action can i take against the doctors.	9/1/2007

She was addmitted to the hospital and they took a cat scan in july. It showed that she had dead brain cells in the front of her brain. In addition, there are several things you can do in order to keep your anger and your health in control. Try relaxation and meditation techniques. You can also try yoga (please do perform yoga under supervision of a some experienced person who knows your problems) in order to balance and maintain proper blood flow in your brain. Aqueel Uddin	my younger brother died while he was sleeping, he had minute pimples on his face. Some liquid also came out from his left ear and left nostril. I think the probable cause of his death is Brain Hemorrhage. Pls reply me via email	12/26/2006
parekhnileshp	Hi Kate, Sorry to hear about your mom and grandmother. It is surely very hard to find out whether you will be suffering from similar condition or not, but my true and sincere advice for you will be of not to worry about any such thing. All you should do is take it easy and don't even think that you are going to suffer from anything that your mom or grandmother did, may be they had different physical condition. In case if you want to be sure, then just go ahead and get yourself checked from a reliable physician. As far as I can say .. Kate	I am sixteen years ols and my mother died of a brain hemmorrhage when i was twelve. My granmother died of deep vain thrombosis when i was two years old. My local gp has told me that there is no exact way of determing whether i not i am likely to die of a similar condition. So therefore i wolud like to know if you could give me a second opinion? 	thats bad...sorry to hear it...people should indeed be aware of the danger in taking prohibited drugs...it damages the brain so people who do drugs looses their mind and eventually die...i think its better to skip the insanity part.	3/18/2005
danielvelazquez	my brother is in l i jewish hospital from a brain hem. cocaine is also a factor on speeding up the damage of blood vessels we have to start letting people know that this drug and many oyher drugs can destroy more than your financial situation. my brother will not live so lrts try to make sure the rest of us do .	3/14/2005
