In search of the perfect diet

Human Fuel is built from carbohydrates. Meat has virtually no carbohydrates. Fats may supply energy but only after they go through a longer and less efficient digestive process and your energy reserves are depleted by lack of sugar, fruits, ice cream, cake, donuts, soda pop, etc.

James I eat a big breakfast every morning. It doesn't make me lethargic. I also eat meat every day several times a day. Doesn't make me fat. I don't care when I eat my fruit whether its before or after. Diets like this will only tie you and limit your freedom with bogus information. The problem with modern diets is not that we eat our acid fruit with our protein. The problem is we eat fast food and don't move very much. Your body isn't going to change just because desks were invented. Use your body or lose it. And eat real food. Real food such as rice oranges and ducks. Fake food is twinkles soda pop and fried hungryman. 7/1/2008
Nomin Where are you getting your information? NOTHING takes 48hrs to digest. The fact is nothing stays in your digestive system that long unless there is something horribly wrong with you.

And to say that it takes 3-4hrs for carbohydrates to digest is ludicrous. There are so many different kinds of carbs not to mention how the volume of what you are consuming is a huge factor that you can't assign a generic time frame for all carbs.
