Candy Can hot water damage the hair? Is there any research on the effects of hot water on the hair? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. It can't be as damaging as a curling iron or hot dryer. 7/21/2009
TIFFANY dont cry some peoples haif fall out because there hair isnt used 2 the couloring ive had it done and mines ok try puting a load of conditioner through ure parting and were youve had it coloured because youre hair could be weak good LUCK!! 4/16/2005

Hello Readers,

Most people with their queries on hair seem perplexed. Well for starters, any amount of chemicals however great in quality almost always weakens your hair. Especially so if you don't take care!

For Janet, I'd suggest that you use a hat of breathable material instead of the wig. Its the same if you see, you're only trying to cover your scalp. Wigs don't allow your scalp to breathe and cause much heat to be produced over a period of time and excessive heat causes the roots to weaken and thereby lead to hairloss..

Try Nike products of the breathe easy fabric. I think its called dry fit material. For those genetically inclined to grey hair, well there's little you can do, but not without a good reason! You could do either the Yogic head stand after proper consultation of a yoga teacher, and the Sarvang asana, or the 90 degree pose, as frequently as possible, you're sure to keep you hair darker for a longer period of time, that is if you practise it regularly.

I suffer from thyroid and have greying hair in my genes...Its sure ffected me in the positive manner, I am sure it will help you too.. To get more info on this, visit www.yogajournal.com for your hair loss problems...

Tiffany Please Help,
I am trying to find out why my hair fell out after getting it colored professionally. She used the new product that needs only 15 minutes under heat. I think she could have left it on a bit longer becuase she took another client while it was setting in. Will it grow back? It is so thin I can see my scalp. I really want to cry. Janet Savona Would wearing a wig every day just for work it is very loose with open holes cause balding. I take it off at night and do not wear it on the weekend. I just find it easier my hair is hard to manage. Everyone says they make you go bald. Is this true? 3/16/2005
