i was surprised when i first heard they were going out i thoughtit was just going to be some quick thing. But after seeing them together at the Grammys and watching ellen on her show the seem happy. and i have to believe ellen knows what she is doing with portia and there has to be something between them because i dont think ellen wants to do the anne heche thing all over again |

Personally I think it's sad for the ex girlfriends, but at the same time believe that life is too short to be in an unhappy relationship. There had to be underlying problems in both the previous relationships for them to fall in love with someone else. If they are happy together, then they should be together. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors in their previous relationships. And just because they are famous, people expect perfection from them....how many people do you know that have broken up with someone and started dating someone else right away? I say more power to Ellen and Portia and I hope they are very happy together! |

They both give us a bad name I mean it's bad enough defending our relationships, but hello add to that they both cheated and took less than what a month to move in and exchange rings? I thought that after her breakup with Anne Heche, Ellen wanted her future relationships to be not as public as before. It seemed to be that way with Alexandra, but perhaps Ellen missed that aspect of her relationship and needed a trophy girlfriend. So much for thinkin'...and so much for having a not so public relationship! Good luck to the both of them.

I dont have much of a comment on "Ellen's New Love" except she has to do what she has to do and it is a lot better for her to have what she wants rather to stay in a realationship that she doesent want. Also i will always have a great respect for Ellen no matter what her decision. |

I think Ellen is a very great person. I watch her show every chance i get (while being in school its hard because i dont have TVo.). when i do watch it i am very proud to see a gay person doing so great in life because we are always talked down by a lot of people. |

I think Ellen needs to think rationally. She has been down this road before with Anne Heche, so you would think she would have learned her lesson. Dont get me wrong Portia is very nice looking but what about whats on the inside. I think it's a midlife crisis and Ellen hopefully will come to her senses and either get back with her ex or just stay single and play the field. |
