sportnutrionist A diet high in sugar can cause diabetes through excessive consumption, due to overloading the body with sugar the insulin cannot cope and therefore is affected. This myth is true and diets especially in obese people should be cut down in sugars to prevent diabetes type 2. 8/14/2009

Caroline Musika I love this food myths page because it is so true. I learned a lot of information that I personally thought were true. The vegetarian diet I thought would be better for some people, but it doesn't really matter if the diet is vegetarian or not, either way it can be very fattenig. I was reading the information and saw that perservatives weren't all bad for you. I do like this website very much. It gives lots of important facts, about food myths that are set in many people's minds. 7/15/2008
Farzan Sharifza I think this article contains important information for those who are seeking better eating habits. I could not believe that if you miss a meal, it will only entice your hunger for a bigger meal later which isn't so good. Also, I do find the information on eating excessive sugar foods can cause harmful effects on your health such as diabetes and I now realize i have to cut down on candies. 11/15/2005
