Animal Rights
Why do you want genetically manipulated transgenic animals anyway, when you can't behave well enough with the existing genetically unmanipulated, non-transgenic creatures of both the four-legged and two-legged variety?

I think that the information given above is very useful and some of it upsetting to hear that animals are tested every second that we live. I hope that all of it just STOPS! Right away |

Animal Cruelty is nonsense, it is flat out wrong, it's pointless, theres no reason to do it. Scientists say "Were expirementing on them for our own good, and to help the humans.
No, animals and humans are completely different things.
Even if people did stop testing on animals, and abusing them in the process of being slaughtered, or under capture, I wouldn't eat them
It's disgusting on how people can live with thereselves knowing they've hurt/killed/abused/ an animal. |

PETA Killed 97 Percent of 'Companion Animals' in 2006, According to VDACS
WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- An official report from People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), submitted nine months after a Virginia government agency's deadline, shows that the animal rights group put to death more than 97 percent of the dogs, cats, and other pets it took in for adoption in 2006. During that year, the well-known animal rights group managed to find adoptive homes for just 12 pets. The nonprofit Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) is calling on PETA to either end its hypocritical angel-of-death program, or stop its senseless condemnation of Americans who believe it's perfectly ethical to use animals for food, clothing, and critical medical research. |

This person has misinterpreted what "end to breeding" was meant. it means breeders over ordinary cats, not an end to cats having babies. Also she takes offense about dogs being called toys, it was not meant that a normal dog pet is considered a toy. it meant that cloning your dog produces a toy replica. This person is just all out for venting against PETA. I am not a PETA fan either by the way but this article doesn't ring true to me. |
