I think the whole story of the titanic is and was sad because when you think of all the people and even children who died it was tearful to hear and/or watch even. I also think that it was a romance kind of thing because how Jack and Rose met and tryed to stay together instead of apart it is just really nice and romantic. The ending had to have been a scary moment for everyone but what was really sad was how Jack and Rose wanted to be together and they had so many plans together that now they would not be able to do because Jack dies at the end. But Rose does not give up and she listens to what Jack had said to her before he dies, he says to her to never let go or give up and she dosent,she gets off the door and goes to another dead man and blows his whistle and the men on the other boat comes to save her. |

I must say that i have fostered my intellectual rigours by reading your piece on the titanic ship which sank in 1912.It would be described as a universal tragedy for a ship of that magnitude to sink with so many loosing their lives.What wasnt clear from your piece though was the fact that you failed to state the nexus between the romantic affair on the ship and the eventual crash and sinking.From the movie which i have had the rare privilege of seeing,it was clear that Catan Smith lost control cos he was bus looking at the romance between the lovebirds on board or is that aspect just an addition to the movie.In all ur writeup is a masterpiece.More power to your elbow.Ime Umana Esq |

All you people need to learn how to spell, your writing is like a 5 years old, titanic sank because it was said that the ship was 'unsinkable' and that 'not even god can sink the ship', well that just proved them wrong, they were to busy trying to make histroy by travling at a fast speed that they did'nt even listen to the warnings, they wanted to go down as histroy and they certainly did. |

i feel so sorry for all those people who died and for there loved ones who had to deal with the death titanic is my favorit movie ever it is so sad i cried a lot when i first watched it.
What was REALLY nice is the titanic orchestra played until after 2:00 a.m. helping to calm the passengers none of them tried to save themselves:
And they are Theodore Brailey(pianist) Roger Bricoux (cellist) George Krins (violinist) Wallace Hartley (Bandmaster) John Clarke (bassist) John Hume (vioinist) Percy Taylor (cellist and John Woodward (cellist) i dont know if u have some of this because i did not read it all but oh well anway a little more about what i know! some kids and there moms stayed on the ship and did not even try to save there selves in a way i did not get it but then again i did then were probley making room for other people and ricking there lives for pther moms and there kids so they can live! watching titanic and seeing all those people dieing in the icey cold river is really sad!
sooo many people died and after seeing that i do not want to get on a boat! one of the titanic survivers just died like and year and a half ago! rose dawson |

So so sad Titanic it's oh sad cry your eyes 4 Titanic and the people who lost their lives ahh. Imiss the Titanic oh so much infact at broken hearted will, I'm still grieving for her. But she's safe in my heart, and that's where she'll stay forever more, and that's where she's safe.
May God bless those poor soles that lost their lives that night. They're at rest now and safe in God's arms. |

Annecka jeremy, I think that ur poem has a lot of meaning to it. I too think that it was very sad that the Titanic sank on her maiden voyage. I loved Thitanic and think that it was sad that all of the elderly was killed,but I think that Leonardo DiCaprio played a very haunting part in the love he had for Rose. I cry when I think of if he really existed, or if that is just fiction. I love history and this was the most sad that I had ever heard of. I still thunk that it was the captain's fault for not altering course just slightly, so as not to hit the iceberg that destroyed the grand ship. Write back if you can. |

i think that the Titanic was the best ship ever made but I feel that it was the captain's fault that the ship went down. The movie and the real story are different. The movie states that there were only 30-40 boats, but 1,528 people did go into the sea that night on April 15, 1912. I only hope that the families are to this day are alright. May all who died R.I.P. And may their souls R.I.P. |
