Kyle G	i know why the titanic split in half its because the front had so much water and the weight was heavy and the back didnt have as much water as the front so it split in half and all the wires and parts of the walls were still atached the the water filled in since the stuf was still atachted the stern got pulled with the bow and then the it split off as the other part gose plowing down to the ocean ground at probly 25 knots get torn apart plowing down as the speed increases then hits the ground bow first back to the sternits siting there floating like a cork after a minute it gose down taking all the peolple with it drownding them	5/23/2011

Prince Hackman	The man who build the Titanic ship didnot respect God.. He said in one of his intervierws that not even God can sink it.. sDFGV	The 1912 sinking of Titanic ship Titanic was one the greatest ship built in twentieth century. The ship was supposed to be unsinkable but some things are beyond the reach of human intelligence and cannot predict the future. This was the first voyage of Titanic. Hundreds of passengers were in enthusiasm and ready to enjoy the long journey. The Titanic ship was considered to be strong enough and built on the latest technologies and was equipped with all sorts of emergency facilities. People from different countries like Iran, France and Italy were on board. The Captain of the Titanic was Edward Smith. He was a Jesuit and had served for J.P. Morgan. The powerful ship began its voyage from south England. The ship was supposed to pass through Atlantic Ocean on the way of its journey. Captain Smith was quite experienced person and had traveled the North Atlantic for 26 years. There were very few captains like him who had the experience of travelling in cold waters. He knew exactly where the icebergs were. The journey of Titanic was planned to commence March 1912 but the construction ship could not be completed within specified time. Also the fuel required that is coal was not easily available because of strike the supply of coal wasn’t permitted. More than required quantity of fuel was then collected from other ships in order to ensure that lack of fuel supply wasn’t a problem for completion of journey. This fuel later added to the agony of disaster. Titanic journey before disaster: Titanic was registered in Liverpool. The historic journey began her maiden voyage from Southampton. It was Wednesday and cool morning of spring. Many of the passengers from other ships were transferred in this boat. The first halt she took was at Cherbourg, France. To attract the passengers from this part it was anchored a mile from shore. The ship headed for its next halt in the evening. By after noon Titanic reached at Queenstown in Ireland. It was 11th April. Father Francis Brown, the most respected Jesuit priest stepped out at this place. He survived from being a part of the dreadful journey. He might have not even thought that the photographs taken by him will turn out to be the memories of this beautiful ship. Titanic’s interior Decoration: Though the ship was far in the midst of ocean far away from luxury out at home nothing was left to make the passengers live lavishing lifestyle. All sorts of entertainment things were available. Whole ship had abundant supply of electricity. The ship was equipped with four 400 kilowatt electrical generators. The passengers were given separate rooms and were able to use electric lamps and heaters. Many were experiencing the high level facilities for the first time. All variety food and drinks were available on the deck. There were many indoor games available. For those who had the practice of daily exercise gymnasium was present. Lifts were there for moving from one place to another. The huge storage of food was done and kept in appropriate refrigerating conditions. To protect from cold rooms were kept warm through heaters. Fans were provided at many places to take care of ventilation. Communication with the people thousands mile apart wasn’t a matter of worry telephones were also provided. The radios of this ship had range of four hundred miles during day time. Some of the recordings of radio operators were recorded before the ship sunk. Day of tragedy: It was only till 13 April that the passengers of titanic were able to take sleep to see the rising sun of next day. On April 14th of 1912, the Captain of the ship realized that he failed to identify a huge white iceberg. The ship was moving at full speed about 22 knots on a moonless night. Captain Smith tried his level best to turn the ship to avoid hitting the iceberg. He nearly would have succeeded but the speed with which it was propelling turned their efforts in vain. While half of the ship overcame the iceberg the later part unfortunately crashed against the rock solid iceberg. The first few cubicles which were water tight were struck badly and water started filling in the ship. Slowly the ships bow began to bow downwards ant the stern started raising. Soon the captain announced that there was crash that took place. Most of them refused to get down in safety ships since they believed that the ship was unsinkable. The ratio of number of ships compared to the no passengers was very less. Around twenty ships for twenty two hundred passengers. What was more tragic was that even these boats were not utilized by people. Soon the ship also caught up with fire. The additional fuel which was taken as measure of precaution added to the fire. The Titanic sank at 2:20 A.M. the morning of April 15. Till the moment that it sank, the band, under the direction of bandmaster Wally Hartley, played hymns. Really nothing can be predicted and these are the things which suggest there is some super natural body governing this universe. May God rest the soul of all those who were the victims of this tragic movement rest in peace	7/28/2009

Vermilion81	To Landon: You have part of your information correct. A large piece of the bottom of the ship was located some way away from the wreck of the Titanic. With it, the scientists were able to prove that the ship never rose more than 11 degrees out of the water. The middle of the ship had a joint that allowed it to flex in the water because it was so large that it crested two waves at once. When Titanic hit the iceberg, the stern rose 11 degrees from the water, causing the two halves of the ship to crush together (they saw the crushed portions) and then the two sections flexed downward, breaking the ship in half before she sunk. Landon	Did you guys know that since the break-up was confirmed in 1985 most people beleived Titanic broke at a high angle more than 30 degrees! But now researchers Titanic broke at a low angle less than11 degrees! So they beleive when it reached 11 degrees it cracked but there was a double bottom so the double bottom was all that was holding Titanic together. So when it reached 30 degrees the water caused the double bottom to fail. The water rushing in pulled the stern and the bow together crushing the upper decks together. The bow detaches and the stern is the last to sink. So what im saying is the stern suddenly stood totally vertical and caught the unlucky passengers by suprise... : )	3/1/2009

Katie	I think the whole story of the titanic is and was sad because when you think of all the people and even children who died it was tearful to hear and/or watch even. I also think that it was a romance kind of thing because how Jack and Rose met and tryed to stay together instead of apart it is just really nice and romantic. The ending had to have been a scary moment for everyone but what was really sad was how Jack and Rose wanted to be together and they had so many plans together that now they would not be able to do because Jack dies at the end. But Rose does not give up and she listens to what Jack had said to her before he dies, he says to her to never let go or give up and she dosent,she gets off the door and goes to another dead man and blows his whistle and the men on the other boat comes to save her.	8/5/2008

I loved Thitanic and think that it was sad that all of the elderly was killed,but I think that Leonardo DiCaprio played a very haunting part in the love he had for Rose. I cry when I think of if he really existed, or if that is just fiction. I love history and this was the most sad that I had ever heard of. The movie states that there were only 30-40 boats, but 1,528 people did go into the sea that night on April 15, 1912. I only hope that the families are to this day are alright. Anneka Jeremy	I love the Titanic more than anything else in the world because I think it was such a beautiful ship, and the story of her just fasinates me! Anneka Jeremy	I just like to tell you the story how I got into Titanic it's a long story but I'll tell t briefly. It was the last day of primary school, it was 22nd Jully 05. I was 11 at the time. I didn't have the slightest clue Titanic even exsisted! That was untill about 9 or 10ish the fil Titanic came on, I said Titanics I ( thought it was called Titanics) what an earth is that. Mum told me it was a ship that sunk and many people died. Less than 4 weeks later I went 2 my Nanny's house and watched the film 4 the 2nd time. I got into it I couldn't stop thinking about it that night! I couldn't sleep I felt happy sad worried many emotions! I couldn't understand what it was. I thought it was just because I was going 2 a new school (Theale Green) Ahh but no... i will continue the story later as I've got 2 get on with other things!	12/2/2007

	I grew up learning about Titanic from my mum, she loves everything about it!! Basically, shes aTitanic fanatic!!!! I do like the Titanic movies, but I haven't seen one that has all the facts right!! A Night To Remember shows the ship sinking as a whole, which was wrong, as it split....the James Cameron version seems to have missed out the Californian, not to mention the boat Titanic nearly hit at the beginning, Cal and Rose staying in B52,which was actually Bruce Ismays!! I know some are just minor things,but when you have a titanic fanatic in the form of your mother in the cinema with you, they tend to point all these things out!	1/23/2005

Kailey	i think that when they saw the iceberg ahead that they could of told everyone that there was one and that then they gave the life jckets to everyone and should of had more cause they knew that there was going to be alot of people so they should of had alot more lifejackets.
