Cervical Cancer: Improving Detection Through the Use of Computers

Cervical cancer is a silent, slow growing cancer that, although preventable, often goes undetected. The only defense is early detection through an accurate Pap test. There are three automated systems available that may improve the accuracy of Pap tests.

Erma-Mae Young When I go for an internal exam, and ask about a test for cervical cancer they tell me they can`t do one because they don`t have the facilaties to do them. Where do you go and does it cost a lot to find the answer? Why is it so hard to have a test done. If you get a normal result back from having just a pap test done, does that mean you don`t have to worry about cervical cancer? 2/20/2005
