Lesbianism and India

A large number of studies that delve into the ancient Hindu scriptures to look for acceptability, or at least instances of lesbian behavior often come up with a priceless observation…things haven’t changed much for same sex relationships for women over millennia.

Stephanie I think that Lesbianism is something that is just as common and normal as Heterosexuality. People should be more concern about what is going on with themselves than other people. I hope that one day we can become a society that accepts all cultures, race and sexuality such as nature. Nature is a diverse and different as we all are. There have been reports of animals that show signs of homosexuality and female species taking on roles of their male counterparts and visa versa. 5/8/2008

Rose Black Hi, I love this article as I had no idea about the lives of lesbians in contemporary India. It is a shame since the Kama Sutra has such world wide status. I am in the process of writing a lesbian kama sutra as an online web site with my partner and have posted this article link onto our site.
