The Women Warriors of the Amazon
The women warrior of the Amazon is an account of the fascinating people who cut their right breasts off. They would go to any extent to achieve victory. Are the Amazonian women real or are they the figment of someone's imagination.

I don't think amazons cuts their breasts off. They were probably called "breast-less" by historians because when a woman is in top physical condition she loses her body fat. We're one of the only mammals that carry around breasts when not feeding our young. Maybe because historically we're more sedentary - probably due to forced social constraints. |

BS. Where's the archeological evidence that they actually sliced off one of their breasts? |

This is a poorly written article with no footnotes or signs of scholarly support for the theories posited. I hope no one takes this article serioulsly without spending some time on their own looking into this fascinating and controversial subject. |

I find it quite interesting that women would cut off their own right breast just so they would be able to go into battle knowing that they are just as equal as men. |

i think what you are saying is very thankful of women as myself ,i am a womens activist so by your company putting up this site on women soldiers shows women are just as equal as men in every way and it goes to show that even males in the ancient times thought women deserved the right to be put in battle and that we're just as strong as male figures.i thank y'all on behalf of all women. |

Wow, did they really slice off their breast? Oh well it then meant that they could fight which I think is totally awesome and I wouldnt doubt that the Amazon women truly did exsist. I loved the Ashanti queens quote and completely agree |

I really feel that the last paragraph of your article was very symbolical. It's also ironic. |

Maybe you need to add a little more to your websites about Mythology. that way I wouldn't have to look all over the internet. |
