Presidential Race Still Tight
The latest round of polls in the US election race shows the presidential candidates more or less tied, with Democratic hopeful John Kerry trailing Republican president George Bush by two or three percentage points, a gap still within a margin of error.

Since it is obvious to all that at least half the US voters do not approve of Bush, AND the majority of people in other countries do not approve of Bush, doesn't this tell the majority of Americans something? Alas, no. The majority of my fellow citizens still prefer to have the illusion of a "strong leader" . They WANT to believe in him. Thus they will gravitate towards all the simple solutions and repeated, simple sound bytes he offers. While I never liked Reagan policies, his version of same tactic worked "better" because he was not perceived as a liar. |

The following are undisputable facts and have television footage to prove the validity.
On national TV in February of 2001 Colin Powell stated that sanctions and
Inspectors on the ground insure that Iraq and Sadaam are no threat to the US in any way, and that he is "Unable to even attack his closest neighbors with
conventional weapons". "That all weapons capabilities were destroyed in 1991 and 1996" and that sanctions insure this will not change even though he is trying to weaken those sanctions. In July of 2001 National Security Adviser to the President (C.R.) stated on national TV that sanctions and Inspectors in Iraq have allowed us to keep him (Sadaam) completely contained, boxed in. He has not rebuilt any arms of any sort and poses no threat of any kind, and the knowledge to rebuild any is steadily deteriorating and has been since 1991.
Since the two aforementioned people report and talk with the President daily,
and stated these things publicly on TV some 25 and 20 months respectively before the war, this proves absolutely the President must have known these same facts as the latest WMD report stated almost verbatim, without question, before he went to war!!! This not only destroys the "Bad Intelligence" theory but also any others, except one, and therefore points to a much bigger, real and powerful story, to say the least! How can any true journalist allow this to go unreported, right now, before it’s to late!!!???
