| 123 | I've had tickle/laughter therapy done several times and it works wonders. Always on the soles of the feet and I would bet it triggers reflex points too. ound this and thought it was interesting: "The wild, uninhibited laughter of a child, as opposed to the more cerebral laughter of an adult, can be attained by a prolonged and intense tickling of the soles of the feet. Considered torture by some, tickling itself can actually be a great way to relieve stress if the recipient can handle the stimulation andsurrender to the sensation. This is easier said than done-tickling is confusing, a literal love/hate relationship, as the mind says, " yes" and the body screams, "No". Tickling can be perceived as both pleasure and pain, like an itch that cannot be scratched. It is this quandary that the body both craves and resists, sometimes simutaneously. Specifically, tickling the sensory-rich soles of the feet bring other stress relieving factors [reflexology/nerve stimulation] into play as well. Tickling and laughter are both mysterys that in recent years, have received much deserved attention." | 6/11/2011 |
| brent | My girlfriend's sister uses any chance she has to tickle me- we have an adversarial relationship and she tickles me to hysterics to "put me in my place". But I love it- the laugher is great stress therapy, so when she sits on my ankles, pulls off my shoes and socks, I act tough and challenge her to defeat me and break my composure, which she does within seconds, but then keeps tickling me thinking it is a total victory for her! | 3/11/2009 |

| T. Balentine | Hi. My name is Tammy. Here in Baton Rouge I have a very stressful job. So stressful that I found it nearly impossible to cope with. That's until I began laughter therapy. I have my husband David tickle my feet at least 20-30 mins every day. Laughing hysterically for 30mins. does wonders for stress. Without this therapy, I could never function at work. I'd recommend laughter therapy anyone. | 7/16/2005 |
