Fraeya, It's the child endangerment charge that will send her to jail. I'm suprised the State is not trying to take her kids away. I'm also suprised they didn't charge her husband too. He was guilty of "knowingly allow" & the child endangerment too. |

The reality is Tracey can be sent to Prison for up to 5 years ... In many states it would be automatic she would have to do some jail time under the Child Endangerment Laws ... Most likely a year. After all this is a FELONEY ! Dunk Driving is a very common thing in our society ... Do you know anyone who has Drank to much and Driven ? George Bush has, Dick Cheney has ... I'd say I'd have a pretty good bet that you know someone that has ... More than 1 Million people are caught Drunk Driving & Prosecuted every year (Law enforcement thinks they catch less than 10% of the offenders) ... I'm sure thousands of people do it every day (Not to mention the weekends) ... So I ask you .... If Drunk Driving is so dangerous why don't we see thousands of accidents each and every day ? Or why aren't a Millions of people killed on the roads each year ? Maybe because the real danger is a little overstated ? The Orignal Founder of MADD stated publicly that the organization has gone way to far in passing these laws ... The reality is the .08 Driver isn't out killing people on the roads but it's the .15 and above drivers ... The truly Drunk Drivers .... In Tracey case, Drunk, Causing a accident with Injuries and kids in the car ... Perhaps she should go to jail ... But I think not ... I think we as a society need to come to terms with that the fact that we are a Nation that Drinks and put a little more reality back in our Laws. Let's save our Prisons for the truly Dangerous People ... It Ain't Tracy Gold !!!

I loved Tracey Gold's book and I loved how she was on Celebrity Mole. I cannot believe that she would be thrown in jail...I'm very worried about her. I love Tracey Gold, she's a very devoted parent and I agree with Lilly...it's not just her punishment it's leaving her boys motherless. |

Well...Tracey Gold's story and her book "Room To Grow" helped me out of my anorexia. I've been watching her since she was in Shoot The Moon when she was 5 and also loved her character on Celbrity Mole. She is such an honest and loving mother. Her mugshot scared me and is haunting and I'm so worried about her...I know driving drunk is wrong but I'm sure she learned from it. She's a mother, her babies dont deserve to have no mother because of one crazy night. |

I understand what you're saying Sasha, but we're not talking about your father. Tracey Gold is not a young troubled "child star" who does not know how to get help. She's been through so much and overcome so much, and she knows right from wrong (with or without alcoholic tendancies). This was simply a selfish, stupid, pathetic act from someone who should have set a better example, not only for the very kids she endangered that night, but for the public in general. Don't give me that crap that "she's troubled always being in the public eye" because I don't buy into it. Don't lead the life of a celebrity if you don't want to be judged I say. By the way, if she felt so horrible about the accident or was so troubled and in pain, she should have pleaded guilty and taken her punishment instead of pleading not guilty to "get the best deal". Sorry, but she needs a wake up call and I hope the court does not let her off with a slap on the wrist on this one. Troubled, in pain, or just plain stupid, there is no reason she and her husband could not afford a babysitter and a cab ride home that night. |

It's very easy to judge and say things like they should be taken out and shot, but the reality is no one knows the details. No I don't condone that she was drunk while driving and I do think she needs to seriously address the problem. But as a child of an alcoholic father who often put my life in danger by driving drunk (unfortunately in other countries laws are not as strict) I know the solution would not have been to take my father away because no matter what that is my father and you can not explain anything different to a young child. Putting someone in jail is not going to solve it and it is only going to bring more pain to the children. This is something that Tracy will live with for the rest of her life even if drinking is not something she often does. People often judged my father and although I can know understand where they came from, I also know that that man was my dad and I did not want him taken away, in my country there are no good programs to help him but here there are so many and I think this somthing they should take advantage of... |

she should be taken out and shot. I do not care if she has an eating disorder, was a child alcoholic or even if she is close friends with Jesus. It is wrong to drive with your children in the car if you have been drinking or using drugs.(legal or not). Her husband should be beaten with a cane pole untill he is unconcious. NO MERCY. |

Why does everyone feel sorry for her? Sure she's a great person and everything but she was drunk. And driving around her kids. And she happened to break her kid's clavicle. I feel sorry for the kids who are the innocent victims here. No one forced her to drink. |

I saw her mugshot on the internet and my heart just sank. Seeing the look on her face, indicates there is much more to this story than they are reporting. She is in alot of pain... I wished I knew what was wrong with her because she looks like she needs alot of help. Maybe she and her husband are having personal problems. We need to pray for her. Tracy is a wonderful person and it's not like her to put her family in danger like that... |

I'm sure this has been a horrible experience for Tracy, I'm glad there weren't more serious injuries. Obviously, I don't condone drinking and driving. I hope this proves to be a valueable lesson for Tracy and I think everyone should leave her and her family alone to get through this. |

I feel so so sorry for Tracy Gold. We are the same age and both mothers. I cannot imagine how guilty I would feel if I put myself in that postion. I do know that drinking and driving is SO WRONG but her mug shot haunts me, I see her pain and I would rather die than live what will be her life now. Tracy, please try to forgive yourself. |
