I though the book was good but it was just too cliche. It's just too much like everyother little girl's book out there! Writers should start finding other types of things to write about when using princesses and what not. |

I loved how Sara stood up to people while still keeping her poise. Like when Lavina made fun of Lottie and smacked her, Sara stood up to Lavina but did not get violent. I loved this book; it was just so amazing! |

well, after i finished this book, it mades me thinking of something that i never thinked before. it's very touching and tell me alot. i know that every girl can be princess whatever you're pretty or ugly, rich or poor. only you need is having a kind heart, be faithful and belive you are the princess! |

I am 60 years old (how did THAT ever happen??) and when I want to curl up on a cold and rainy day, I go and find my beautifully illustrated copy of "A Little Princess" to cheer me up and brighten the day. I often end up by vatching A Little Princess on DVD and really love the later version, although the Shirley Temple Version is a delight as well. A WONDERFUL book that I have given to all my 4 Grand-daughters. |
