I also have petoskey and other stones that I would like to enhance but don't need a heavy polishing. I have used shellac, but don't really care for that. C'mon - somebody help! |

my father polished Petosky stone in the basement. He used a grinder with a special wheel-I guess. Now I would like to polish a few interesting stones I have found. What is yhe best and cheapest way to start. would appreciate your comments.-Thanks |

This really didn't tell him how to polish stones without a tumbler. I'd like an answer to his question also. |

I'm looking for polishing procedures, with out the use of a tumbler i.e take a rock size off 1" and shape it to my standerds and polish it. Can you please tel me how, and what to use for a high quility end product. Thank you, Regards |
