Third Party Politics

Greens are what the Democrats think they are and Libertarians are what the Republicans think they are. However, these are not the only third parties. Third Parties have been around since the founding of the United States. The Constitution makes no mention of political parties. This was a smart move; it would be anti-Constitutional to show any preference to any political party.

acohen843	The United States needs more than 2 political parties. Nobody agrees completely with all of the Democrat point of view and nobody completely agrees with all of the Republican point of view. Most people agree with sections with each and have beliefs that are not really represented by each party. I love the parliament form of government. More party representation may be more argumentative, but I believe more views are represented.	2/1/2005
