Okay, I'm adding something else. It turns out (this is what i read) that Haylee (however u spell her name) duff and Paris got into a fight over a song or something that was going to be on their CD's. Nick didn't do anything. He's innocent. And another thing, neither of the two girls she even be coming out with a CD. They can't sing to save their lives. Anyway, Nick is innocent and shouldn't be blamed. |

I don't think that Nick hit her. He seems like a really nice guy and i mean, a backstreet boy wouldn't hit a girl. Honestly. And besides, Paris was enjoying the fact that they were blaming the whole thing on Nick. I read that she found it amusing in some other article. She probably did it for publicity. |

I feel sorry for her. I hate men who hit women. Nick does not seem like a voilent type, but you never know. If he did hit her, i am glad they broke up. Only a loser man would hit a woman. |

I think Nick was in love & blinded by Paris's skankiness. I felt so sorry for him, he is too good looking& he deserves more than what Paris can offer him. all of his fan's had to be shocked.....So let me say on be half of all the fan's out there.Nick, we don't want you to go through this you deserve more. We all love you! |

I personally feel that it was a female fan who just got tired of her. She probably called someone the "N'" word again and got knocked! She probably was the agressor. After all she's not afraid to encourage someone to finger her fishy .... So why should we think she is innocent in this matter. She probably got what she deserved. Let us know when she croaks from inhaling too much pot laced with coke!! |

Actors think they can do anything they want without having consequences. Well I think that Nick Carter believes he can do whatever he pleases and abuse women who ever thay are (including Hilton) There should be a real investigation because abuse is against the law and it should be taken seriously like Stewart's case. Just because certain actors are popular and famous they should never feel the privilege to break the law! |

It sickens me that the public and media can have the brainless kneejerk reaction to assume that anytime there is an altercation between a man and a woman that the woman is a "victim" and the man a jerk and "abuser". Anyone--male or female-can be provoked enough to have a violent reaction. I don't condone violence as a means to solve problems--it is not right-BUT sometimes you can understand the reaction. To equate what happened to Paris Hilton with true domestic abuse is to belittle what REALLY happens to women in that situation. This is a woman who gets into altercations in public on a REGULAR basis. She is as "violent" as whoever was responsible for the bruises--Nick Carter, Tara Reid, another woman, Santa Claus. God KNOWS what she was doing or saying to the other person. Would you feel as strongly about her "suffereing domestic abuse" if we found out she had just kick him in the groin? She was kicking and hitting him first? She was screaming at him that she had just slept with Aaron, his 16 yr old brother? I doubt it. The fact is Paris was NOT beaten. Her bruises are just NOT consistent with a beating. Paris' arm bruises are just as consistent with those produced by someone RESTRAINING someone, and her 'fat lip" the result of a slap. If Nick Carter--who is 6'3" and at least 180 lbs had been "beating" her---she would have sustained far worse injuries--and would NOT have been seen eating at McDonald's within a few hours of the incident or cavorting in a see-through dress that next night at a club. But then--what better photo-op? And her sister holding up her arms and pointing out her face for the paparazzi at the airport was classic. Paris went to the Hamptons to supposedly ponder her options. For Paris this involves charity events and nightly clubbing--yes, she has been "traumatized". This is a girl who has been a blatent and persistent liar in the past--she denied the existence of the sex tapes and denied getting "NICK" tatooed on her butt. She lied that her breakup with Nick was due to her "work". How can anyone believe her? I see that Hollywood believes whoever is higher on the popularity list for the moment. How pathetic. It is almost a shame that she hasn't taken Nick Carter to court--at least then he would have half a chance to defend himself. As it is, You and the other gossipmongers have already convicted him and the public lynching as begun.
