Orca Are you serious?! Dolphins can NOT be kept as pets. There is no way in hell you could provide enough space for a wild, 10 foot, 500 pound dolphin in a tiny backyard pool. Besides, its against the law.

Anyways, I already knew all of this stuff about dolphins. Not to brag, but I am kind of a walking encyclopedia on cetaceans. :-)		 7/17/2006

Yes I agree, dolphins are very special and intelligent creatures. Many people don't know this, but orcas ('killer whales') are a species of dolphin. I've posted a message in this forum about a lost baby orca who needs our help to get him reunited with his family. As you are a dolphin lover as well, I'm sure you'd be interested to learn more about this tragic situation.
