B. Nicholson My son is 31 yrs. old and has liver ca. He is in the end stage. He had no hpoe when they found his 4 mos. ago. He had no symtoms of it until he turned yellow and began to have nausea. It is horrible to see him die and you wonder if there is really a cure for such a diease. He is a minister and a wonderful father of 3 beautiful girls and a great husband and son. I feel that everyone should get tested every yr. for ca. and insurance companies should pay for it . There are so many people who dies with this diease uncalled for! yes i am angry If there's a cure and the gov. and pharm. companies don't wont it told God help them judgement day. 8/18/2005

Dan Schultze I have been diagnosed with Cholangio Carcinoma. Is anyone attacking this stuff aggressively and/or successfully? 9/6/2004
nileshparekh Hi Anna,
I do not think this disease cholangiocarcinoma is genetic. Cholangiocarcinoma is rare and very few people will fall prey to this disease (2 to 3 in 100,000 people). This disease spreads slowly and majority of cases are found in patients above the age of 65. Although I came across this section very scarcely, I will advise you to consult your physician for the further guidelines. Getting yourself or your children CHECKED for cancer is no bad, after all - prevention is better than cure.
