alhagie my name is alagie, and i live is serrekunda, all i will like to say is that we have to see ourself as brothers and sisters, because we are one blood, but now welltiness is messing around, and the parent those who think that there childrens are there gods are going very wrong. because if you see i say this, is because i see that the parent of the child will buy that bad things for the child, and say that you can go out any where you like to go. for me that is too bad for the child, because if you want your child to be good tomorrow, you must tell the child what to do that is to fellow your foot step if you where good, but if you where bad, tell the child to be good more than you. i see in senegambia how things are going, but is too bad for our country really bad. but what can we do about it? even this sunday beach, what can we do to stop it? you see we have to take our good peoples foot step. and we will be happy forever in our lifes. now they say that the child have right. when did the child have right? look let us not
take the european stile, is not good for us really. let be like the way we see our selfes. where is relegoin, no one like to be in that side, because if you are there for
GOD, may be you will not enjoy your life because what GOD say in islam you cannot do it so is better you stay away from it. but we have to lean how to live in our lifes, let us try all that we can to know what GOD say so that we can live good, and when we die we can be in his heaven. my time is up but i will like to link to this side. take care.

Paul Michaels Dear Sir/Madam, the above article( European Paedophiles Flock to Gambian 'smiling Coast) formed the basis for a similar article on the 8th July in the daily Observer in Gambia. The following letter from me was sent to both the Observer reporter and to The Gambian Tourist Authority, to date neither have replied.( Letter copied and pasted below;

I have been a frequent vistor to the Gambia along with a party of Bird
watchers
for a number of years. During a recent visit by our group of 12 tourists,
we
were very annoyed by the fact that the rise in Prostitution is such that
it is
virtually impossible to go out in The Senegambia area without being accosted
or
propositioned by prostitutes.

One of our party sucumbed to the dubious charms of one, a Miss Oumie Barry,
a
Sierra Leonian Prostitute who seems to be well know in The Senegambia area
( Cheers Bar, Ali Baba`s and Waaw), on his final night she drugged him and
stole
his credit cards and wallet. He found out the next morning in trying to
recover
his possessions that she is a notorious local prostitute and is known for drugging and robbing tourists. She pays the local soldiers and Police to
turn a
blind eye to this practice. Apparently this practice is becoming more prevalent

as most of the prostitutes know that the men will be too embarrassed to
report
the offence and short of time as they are departing that day.

A letter of complaint was sent to the GTA but they did not even acknowledge
the
letter let alone reply. This suggest they condone this practice. As a group
we
shall not be returning, this begs the question " What type of tourists
do you
want in the Gambia?", people coming for sex purposes, or tourists
with families
supporting the entire Touristic infrastructure and helping to improve the
local
economy, or people putting money into the hands of foreign prostitutes
who are
surely destroying your tourist industry.

Yours Faithfully
Paul Michaels.
