I found the article to be very interesting and insightful; however there was one problem I had with it. In the section of "The Nuclear Family" there are percentages of the types of workplace of the parents. when adding up the percentages, I found it does not add to equal 100 percent. Only 90 percent. So who are the other 10 percent and where do they spend their time. The only thing I could really think of are the both parents stay home and take care of the children. Please re inform... |

Family is the person or persons who take loving care of the child not the embrio or the fetus the child. The child begins to form from the second that they are allowed to be with you by GOD. If you call them matchbox cars will that make it easier for you to discard them? If GOD didn't believe that you were worthy then you wouldn't have the opportunity to grow with your child. You grow with them many,many, parents have said that my whole life changed when I had my child. Please consider allowing GOD to choose for you when it comes to your child. Can you override his decision without wondering for the rest of your life not to mention the guilt should i have kept my GIFT from GOD? I pray that you let GOD decide this huge decision. |

In the second paragraph your study observed that a child can florish with adequate love and care what can you say to an adult who survived severe abuse as a child and although I pray throughout the day I can not entirely escape the memory of being starved and beaten and mentally driven so far out of reality that I could not reconize that much abuse. In other words the mental anguish was brutal. The person that they told me was my mother would sing in repetion that usually lasted for hours mimimum of two hours at a time. Then the person Mae would sing hanna manna gootsie over and over to the tune of row row row your boat. I survived this inhuman torture for years without telling anyone. Just wondering...Joan |

My parents met and had me, my older sister alex, my older brother Philip then my parents seperated. My mom met my step-dad and he had 2 daughters and 2 sons. My mom and step-dad had 2 children, a boy and girl. Then my mom died and i stayed with my step-dad and he remarried and she had 2 sons and 1 daughter (also a few other children which she gave to her husband) and together they adopted my step-dad's brother's children. To this day I consider all these siblings my brothers and sisters. Crazy, eh? |
