Stephanie	Firstly, thank you for sharing your experiences here. I have to say I agree with christy! And, as a trainee hypnotherapist, I am learning through experience that hypnosis is a tool to be used with unlimited possibilities and creativity, though always respectfully. If you are going to go to a hypnotherapist, make sure they have good ethics by searching for recognisably registered therapists - there are associations and other bodies of authority in this area - as these people are doing as much psychological work as any other mental health professional, surely?	3/26/2008
Christy	I think it's unfair to claim that cancer cannot be healed through hypnosis or any other positive-thinking exercise. It diminishes your entire cause to claim that there are limits to the healing powers within everyone. There have been documented cases where people deemed "terminal" have had their cancer totally disapear through ways thought "unconventional" which had nothing to do with medicine.	2/17/2006
