Vijay Kumar Vasant pandit owner of Frontier Trading,who was looking after Japan lifes business in India, is the main culprit. He cheated JLI members.He used to behave like a hitler.All the senior members who earned more than 20 lakhs were his chamchas.

Vasan pandit started a Insurance broking company in JLI through which members of JLI could do insurance business.But this monster vasant pandit didnt spare their commission also.

NEW DELHI: Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) — currently probing the handing over of official defence ministry documents to Samata party financier R V Pandit — has sought an ‘‘action taken note’’ from the department of revenue on the alleged tax anomalies by a company owned by Pandit’s son.
Pandit senior is a close aide of defence minister George Fernandes and Samata party leader Jaya Jaitly. Earlier this year, he wrote a controversial pamphlet on the ‘coffin scam’ defending Fernandes and attacking the Comptroller and Auditor-General. He also paid the fees of an expert witness from Britain, who was flown in by Jaitly to testify on her behalf at the tehelka hearings.
While making its inquiries, the PAC had stumbled upon an audit paragraph referring to alleged tax anomalies by M/s Frontier Trading, a company owned by Pandit’s son, Vasant R Pandit. The PAC wrote to the finance ministry on August 8, requesting the department of revenue to inform the PAC secretariat about the action taken on an audit objection raised by CAG regarding duty exemptions granted to Frontier Trading.
The ‘‘action taken note’’ was due on July 15 on the audit para referring to Frontier Trading’s classification of mattresses. A duty of around Rs 40 crore was imposed on Frontier by Mumbai customs commissioner (import) M C Thakur on August 31, 2001, for wrongly classifying imported luxury mattresses as magnetic acupressure treatment instruments and thereby claiming lower customs duty.
But the case has already gone in favour of Pandit’s son. R V Pandit had presented a case on behalf of his son to the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) on October 5, 2001. Within 20 days, the CBEC issued a clarification nullifying Thakur’s order. Pandit’s presentation was made to the chairman (excise and customs), member (customs) and joint secretary (customs).
Frontier proprietor Vasant Pandit told The Times of India, ‘‘Dad is my guarantor. I hadn’t gone to the board, Dad presented the case on my behalf.’’
Pandit junior said everything is above board and he got speedy redressal from the board simply because he is an honest tax payer. ‘‘I have paid Rs 7 crore in personal income tax and Rs 210 crore in direct and indirect taxes. When I pay so much in tax, the government should give a quick reply. Dad strongly felt for the case. Unless he was convinced that injustice was done, he would not have taken it up.’’
Last month, the PAC sent a questionnaire to the defence ministry, seeking information on documents handed over to Pandit for his pamphlet on the coffin scam. Many PAC members even felt that Pandit’s pamphlet is a fit case for a privilege motion against Fernandes because he had endorsed and circulated a pamphlet that called the CAG names and sought his resignation		 7/6/2010
Dr Animesh it was not a fraud ...everything was black and white... company falled prey into the hands of politician , ...whole world is running on network marketing... those who failed to learn the business are only shouting...i am the witness of all... i purchased in Rs 85000 and earned only Rs 15000 ...i was the person who took loan from relatives... ..i joined the company when these incidents took place and company was forced to close...government was asking more custom duty on the mattresses already sold and taxes already paid after 5 years of sales...difference of custom duty for the five years sales...which was completely unfair...government allowed the company to do the business in india by assigning the required certificates from chitfunds moneycirculation parabanking...giving No objection certificates...even Nizam hospital in hyderabad is using the mattresses for treatment of their [ppatients...government of maharashtra also provided noc to promote the mattress ...and medical people were afraid to see the miraculous results jli mattress was giving...so they started disturbing the company...even many doctors were converted to business due to testimonies experienced by them... company pid all local taxes ...for some people it may be a fraud..but i hope they should first investigate the total incident then they should blame ...i have tried to explain few things here...i have also observed that the police in south india also harassed few peoples in jli office just to get bribed...so after all it is india...i am sorry for few distributors who joined and couldnt earn..they are shouting...but the product they possess is wonderfull ...i have many testimonies...It is not money always...thecompany was the fastest growing company with a turnover of 1000 crore cannot sellsingle product by just fooling others..with a base of ONE LAKH Sixty thousandDISTRUBUUTORS ...so i feel that people who are against the company should talk against anyone after knowing the details...I also say sorry to those who cant earn money but i am sure if they are having mattress with them and if they are not using it regularly then they are the most unfortunate persons in this world...My discussion here never mean to be biased... i have tried to investigate and found above things so please ... stop blaming Japan Life India.. The Highest earner of the Company Mr Jang Rs2crore per month Gave away all his earnings in Charity... because he was already a rich person all in records...i have met Vasant pandit personally...he is so simple and so planned person i have ever met...I am still in Health market with worlds no 1 Company now but still miss Japan Life as aan Institution Of learning Disciplines and Management... Saied I attended one of the Japan Life Seminars. I was not upset at my "friends" who took me there nor upset at the price. I was upset because everyone else fell prey to the mesmerizing video and sales talk out of pure greed. The cost of the mattress is not even 7000 rupees, 81000+ is pooled into the top pyramid of this MLM, and it did not bother the "victims" that they will hurt their relatives, friends, colleagues and associates by selling an overpriced product just to get some money themselves.
BTW, after studying psychology and NLP, I understood that the Japan Life heads use NLP Triggering and subliminal mind control.
I also understood thanks to them that an honest man can never be mid controlled or triggered wth Nuero Linguistic Programming tricks.

Vishal Kumar Nice article,albeit ..my two cents : I was a part of Japan Life between 2001 and 2003 ,fleeced ,so to speak , and fleeced 500 others. No doubt i lost many friends who had similar thinking as yours,but nonetheless ,it taught me and others on how to face life with courage and confidence.The manner in which all were introduced to the company might be intriguing at first ,but the whole networking idea did fly off quite well because of the inherent trust within the partners. The company collapsed,but not its people as most of them learnt the lesson :of not being fleeced again(not by members but by proprietor ,Vasant Raj Pandit ,still wanted by Police) and face life with courage.
Just take my example,had 500 people and all set .After the collapse ,joined a call centre ,then a bank ,then a big software company ,and now in USA.		 4/20/2010

Valerian Glad you didn't fall prey to them, I am / was one of the victim to this "JAPAN LIFE". I was so stupid to join them, it was all against my own will. The so called friends of mine, who introduced me in this made all the necessary financial arrangements (100% loan). And I was so dumb like a zombie kept saying yes to everything they said cos' they were my so called best friends.
