Life after Death

The question of whether there is a life after death is not an issue of scientific concern, for science only deals with the classification and analysis of sense data. While man has been conducting scientific inquiries and research, in the modern sense of the term, for only the last few centuries, he has been familiar with the concept of life after death since time immemorial.

Dan Kelly Unless you are thinking of the DNA in my bones, we die, that's it. Assuming you understand that time began 14 - 15 billion years ago and life about 4.5 billion years ago, then we are no different than other animals (eyes, ears, nose, limbs, body parts, etc.) When a dinasaur is found, that is it - bones. We may have hair and bones.
Any such thing as a soul was made up by man. I asked my mother once: "Do you believe in heaven?" Her response: "No one has ever come back and told us about it. One more thing. If the first living cells were asexual and "God" created life, why is "it" referred to as a he? Beats me. Inherit the wind.

PRASAD LBV Dear Sir,

First of all , let me clearly state that these are strictly my personal views.
I wish to Divide my view into 2 categories :-
1) what happens after death
2) Regarding reincarnation

1) After Death, the soul leaves the body which is imperative. Thereafter, there is no state of consciousness till a rebirth.
Until then,it is a state of non-existance.
A person dies as an 80 year old & wakes up as a hour old baby.
In between there are no dimensions of time/space/activity etc.
A Simple way to understand is as below :-
For example - at 3.00AM while experiencing soundest sleep -do we know whether who we are /whether we are existant or non existant.

Does a wond on your leg pain you while in the deepest sleep.

Do you know whether you are a prince or a pauper???

Similarly-all of us know or atleast believe that life is nothing but a form of energy . only transformation takes place & not destruction.

Further- i believe that after completing the full circle of other forms of reincarnations - a person is blessed with human life which is the highest form of consciousness.

In the next reincarnation - i believe that being born reversely as an animal/other species is not possible, once having been born as a human.

Lastly there is definately a creator to the universe & the all forms of life. Imagine your wonderful body mechanism????????

After Death - it is a state of non-existance till the soul blesses a re birth in other human body. The more you enrich your soul in this life -the better will be the next reincarnated experience.
These are my most personal views please -accept it or leave it.

best regards

christian_emrys Reincarnation of a soul actually fits more into the system of life as we know it. The universe works by objects being " born " - existing - then ending and decomposing / breaking down to form the building material for new objects. * Locations like Heaven and Hell are not impossible. Different dimensions of time and space do exist. But, in my point of view, reincarnation follows closely to life's recycling. Perhaps spiritual matter is no different than physical matter - it breaks down to form something new. 7/28/2005
avocado200210 I truely believe in "life after death." You can't just say that once you die....you will never be heard no more. First of all, how come you exist at the first place...doesn't it seem like you were given another life? So if you gets a chance to exist, then you would have a second chance, and so on just in a different form like an ant....etc. Death is like a way to move on, such as Next Level. So it acts as a time machine. Another example, lets say a bird died....it's body may turn into a mushroom, so the bird's new life is a mushroom. This is just my thoughts. 11/9/2004
avocado200210 One more thing, I think that life is like a computer. The body is the Computer system and it cannot work without an Operating System (Soul). So basically, the body is like a robot controlled by the brain that house the soul (might be an invisible form just like electricity). The END 11/9/2004
kd You cannot make the subject "life after death" as a science experiment like the movie "flatliner " :P
LIfe after death is just a daily topic that comes in a daily conversation. We are born , we live and nothing but time destroys us.Once we die we are heard no more

Tara i believe that once we die our soul will either go to heaven or hell , there is no such thing as reincarnation as some religion thinks that way*cough*. Personally i think that if ppl were to be reincarnated , it would make no-sense, if you were to die as a animal where will yr soul go from there, does THE PHASE CONTINUE *fu*k should i know, but all i know its crap. SO my point is once we die , our soul will either go to heaven/hell. 7/2/2004
