sj This article is the clearest explanation of the most baffling behavior I've ever encountered in my life. "Abusive" doesn't convey the complexity of such a relationship. I've looked everywhere for the reasons behind this cyclical nightmare. I think I may now be in the ballpark. Thanks. 9/6/2007
