Problem Child Actually I think that Alicia keys is more talented because of all the wonderous things she's done and progress as a singer as to beyonce she hasn't done anything for herself as the year of 2007. Look at it this way she's not substantial enough because of the lack of progress and work that she didn't put forth. To backup my story she claims she makes music for the sake of her fans and young women but really exaggerates about herself and her relationship otherwise. We all have experienced the pain. She spends her time making records that don't last but somehow keeps her level on the billboard charts. Beyonce experience in music is not enough talent to say " wow, she's great" but really has not reach it's level of popularity. You say she's the ruthless women in hip-hop but has told half-truths about herself saying that relationship is coming together when it's not. I don't feel sorry for because her sense of musicianship and partnership is likewise. Have you notice that when beyonce makes a CD she has not had much of collaborations. Beyonce all words and wisdom but no personality. It's kind of saddening once you think about. Beyonce might be confident but not confident enough to say that she hasn't done her best. taisverga i think they're both great. personally, i think beyonce has the better voice. however, the maturity of her lyricism seems to appeal to a younger audience. i think she writes her lyrics according to what is hip for the times. there's nothing wrong with that except it lacks the originality of an artist. it makes her the same like the rest. she's definitely much prettier than alicia keys. i don't know why but, i get the impression that she uses too much sex, and of her image to market her music career lately. she's already talented with her voice by itself but, there's no need for that. that's why i liked her to begin with. with alicia keys, im rather impressed by her efforts for the SHORT time she's been in the industry. with only 2 albums out, she's already recieved nine grammies....I repeat 2 ALBUMS. look how long it has taken beyonce to obtain all those grammies with destiny's child and her solo album... although beyonce sings better than alicia, i honestly can tell you her voice doesn't provoke any emotion out of me. yea, her voice is pretty but, i truly don't feel anything from it. with alicia, BOY! does that girl have some soul! how can you not feel her soul in "fallin" and "if i aint got u"? an artist can only have that much soul when they've already had many encounters and experiences of pain, grief, and sadness at one point in their life, and KNOWS/embraces their oldies reallllly well. sorry, but i don't see no trace of that on beyonce. she seems to have had it made through a really good temporal upbringing. there's nothing wrong with that. she doesn't strike me as somebody who was as unfortunate as alicia's temporal upbringing in a one bedroom aptmt and all. i go for alicia because her music appeals to ALL ages not just a younger generation. her lyricism is intelligent, thought provoking, and influential for many people. i LOOOVE the fact that she doesn't solely rely on her looks nor sex to promote her music. for some reason, if i wanted to have a conversation with one of the two----it would be Alicia. She is one intelligent and articulate woman. Through many interviews I've seen her on TV, she carries herself very well for her age. I think she's way more mature than beyonce when it comes to musicianship. if alicia lost her voice the next day, homegirl has the TALENT to seek new artists, produce, write, direct, AND PLAYYYY any instrument she desires to continue her career. just love that chooses to use her intellect, talent, musicianship, integrity, and innovativeness for her success in the music industry. to me, that will always stand the test of time because those kind of qualities are what the back in the day artists used to have that we cant find today. if we do, its hard to recognize them with all this crap we have on the radio---- 2/9/2006

First of all, all of you who think Beyonce is more talented need to get the wax cleaned out your ears and uncover the blindfold from your eyes, because that is absolutely absurd to even think Beyonce is more talented. Anna No compition, definitely Alicia Keys. Alicia is sooooooo talented. Even though she doesn't dance but she has a voice that can blow people's mind. She doesn't show off her booty and dance & I really respect her for that. Her songs are sooo meaningful & everyone can relate to it. She really inspire me. This is crazy. Alicia Keys and Beyonce knowles perform two totally different forms of music. Alicia is very talented on the piano. I wouldn't call her the best singer because she does strain alot to hit high notes and the dancing is not for her. But all in all she's absolutely great as an performer. Beyonce is also very talented. Not ony is she drop dead gorgeous she can sing. And yes beyonce can perform and hit her high notes at the same time. Her father trained them to run and sing at the same time that's why she's that good. As far as calling th girl fat that's crazy. The girl has a banging body. And she did not get butt implants. Where do people get this stuff from. I believe that there are so many girls out there that are so jealous of Beyonce. Mainly because most men thinks she is beautiful. That just shows how many women are out there with low self esteem. And Beyonce's voice use to be really annoying but her singing has improved tremendously. I think both these girls are beautiful and I wish them the best of luck because with so much hatred in the world it's going to be hard for them to be strong. And not for nothing but alicia keys is not a small girl herself. Those legs are pretty thick. So I don't see where the big difference comes in between their size. On voices: both very talented
On looks: both beautiful
On body: Beyonce can lose a few pounds
On clothes: Beyonce used to dress pretty tacky but she's gettin better since her mom isn't designing her outfits anymore
On relationships: Eww Jay-Z? Beyonce you can do better
Acting: Uhh yeah Beyonce should just stick to singing
